Pros: Heard this many times but this bat is truely hot out of wrapper. Its a 2 piece design with a minimal flex. On scale a 27 oz. is 27.5 oz. there's a profound endload feel to this bat. First 50 hits balls reaching 300' fence using .44 , 375 comp balls with the asa .52 300 comp balls hits are crisp and movement is dramatic. Over all HIGHLY recommend this bat
Cons: Being to hot with no break in time wonder about durability? Bat has 200 hits no wedding , crack, or rattle
New for 2012! If you've been searching for the perfect bat but just haven't found the one, wrap your hands around... The One. Over the past few seasons, The One has established itself as the premier slow pitch bat on the market. This season, DeMarini brings it back with an exciting new look and awesome new two-piece half and half design. Using a specially designed 13 inch 4.One Composite barrel, DeMarini is able to give players the solid feel and responsiveness of a one piece bat. After a short break-in the 4.One Composite will open up and produce staggering results. This bat has the ability to turn a contact hitter into a home run hitting machine in no time! The handle of The One uses DeMarini's SC4 Alloy to create the stiffest handle they make. SC4 Alloy is also the strongest alloy DeMarini offers, giving The One the rigid durability that top players demand. The handle is wrapped with a Hybrid Performance Grip that has a thin feel to give players maximum control. The One also features a Clutch 2 Endcap that synchronizes its stiffness with the composite barrel to return explosive impact energy to each ball hit. As with all DeMarini bats, The One is marked with a Rotation Index to remind players to rotate their bat every time up. This creates an even break-in and greatly extends the life of the bat. DeMarini: Insane Dedication to Performance! The One is approved for play in ASA, USSSA, NSA, ISA, and ISF. It is backed by a Full Twelve (12) Month Manufacturer's Warranty. Free Shipping!

Pros: Bat is solid right out of the wrapper. Hits the ball a ton and not even broken in.
Cons: Takes a bit to get use to the one ounce end load.
by raymondxsnapper - Nov 16, 2011
Pros: This is by far the best ASA bat I've ever purchased and I have been through a ton of bats over the years. There's not a single person on my team that doesn't swing the swagger every AB. This is a hot bat! Hot out of the wrapper but even hotter after about 500 hits
Cons: Not a single con on this bat, if you want a good ASA bat this is it.
by BOMBSFLYin22 - Feb 15, 2012
Pros: Sweet design. 100+ hit breakin period then BAM!!! Decent sweet spot, when you find it- mark it and never look back! Solid feel... most used bat if you can handle the 1 oz e-load
Cons: Breakin and getting use to swing. SS is good, but not massive. Heavy for 27 oz
by pOwErLeFtY1100 - Mar 29, 2012
Pros: Just unwrapped this bat today 34/26 and the first hit with the bat was gone. The Sunday Swagger is the hottest ASA bat that you can find.virtually no break in time needed HOTT OUT OF THE WRAPPER!!! Couldnt have asked for any more. Highly recommended for Power Hitters with its 1oz end load.
Cons: Takes a practice swing or 2 to get use to the 1 oz end load.
by vlcmstn_az - Apr 01, 2012
Pros: Very impressed with the endload. Great feel. Good distance. Feels and swings just like a one piece.
Cons: A little stiff. Barrel feels very tight.
by the don - Apr 06, 2012
Pros: bat is hot out of the wrapper with very nice end load and sweet spot
Cons:
by Seven - Apr 08, 2012
Pros: Unreal. Just learning how to change from baseball to softball, two years of playing I have never had warning track power and now 1 out of 15 are leaving the yard. Love this bat only 100 swings on it.
Cons: Everyone thinks they are going to use it.
by greeksoldier - Jan 31, 2012
Pros: took to batting cage got the 26oz bat was popping right away easily sounded and saw the ball coming off harder then last years asa miken freak that was already broken in cant wait for season to start
Cons: grip was good but still had a bit of sting if connected up by handle would suggest taping it
by AK47 - Apr 10, 2012
Pros: I usually roll my bats out the wrapper , but decieded to see if the sundays swag had something to offer. I love the regid feel of the all aluminum ... but the wrapped composite give the jump of the ball. Bats not ever broke in yet and I've hit ~ .600 and 50% of those hits were for extra bases, while others on my team have mashed it yard...
Cons:
by Boilermaker - May 03, 2012
Pros: This bat is awesome!!!! My teams hitting has improved
Cons: It is white would prefer black.
by Anonymous - May 11, 2012
Pros: i have had this bat for all most 1 year and it still out hits my og j2. it has over 1500 swings on it and im putting it over fences that i normally cant even get close now i can consider myself a power hitter with hitting balls that are .40 core and 275 comp.
Cons: the end load being one ounce does take some time getting use to

Ask QuestionIs this bat good for all types of softballs? Apparently our league is getting new softballs, but they are out of stock currently, so we are using old mush softballs. Does this bat work well for both good and mush softballs?
Asked by Oly on May 19, 2012
The DeMarini The One will work well for both balls. However you will see the best results of this bat using the "good" balls.
· May 19, 2012
Reviews talk about getting used to the 1 oz. end load. Is that a heavier or lighter end load than average?
Asked by Ryan on May 17, 2012
A 1 oz end load is average for an end loaded bat.

Asked by jpxtreme on Apr 18, 2012
Yes, DeMarini will be releasing their 2013 models with new USSSA stamps featured on the bat. They should be released late April to early May.

Is this bat legal for the new 2013 USSSA rules?

The DXONE does not feature the new USSSA stamp for 2013. All bats with this stamp will have a picture showing this certification.

What is the difference between the 2012 DeMarini DXONE and the 2011 DeMarini DXONE?
Asked by ZSize on Feb 24, 2012
There is not a difference as far as performance and construction.

I truly loved the Juggernaut. I don't believe it has been remade since 2008 or so, but would love to find a bat with the same feel. Based on the reviews, I'm not sure The One is going to give me that feel and cushion pop. Can you give me any feedback on that?
Asked by Jax on Feb 08, 2012
The Juggernaut was a great bat, but the DXONA may fit what you are looking for even better because it has a slight end load. For more information feel free to contact our customer service at 1-866-321-2287.
· Feb 08, 2012
are all the DXONE end loaded and what is the end weight should I order one weight down
Asked by moondoggy on Jan 23, 2012
This particular model is balanced, but the DXONA does have an end load to it. If you do get an end load, you will notice a weight difference. Some people do order an ounce lower than what they usually swing

I've owned Demarini's in the past and really liked the performance but found they tend to dent easily. How does this bat compare as far as durability.
Asked by AlexG on Jan 18, 2012
Thank you for your question. As far as durability goes the DXONE is a good bat with strong durability. The DXONE is a composite bat and composite bats are known for not denting.
· Jan 18, 2012
The One is performing well and holding up well durability wise. We've not heard of any denting issues with this bat. If it does happen to dent, you are still covered by a 12 month manufacturer's warranty.

What is the best way to break in this bat?
Asked by Jane on Dec 08, 2011
Hitting off a tee or front toss about 200-300 swings rotating the bat in your hands 1/4 of an inch so you are hitting around the entire perimeter of the barrel.
· Dec 08, 2011
whats the difference between this and the DXONA?
Asked by Mike on Nov 24, 2011
The DXONE is more balanced. The DXONA is an end loaded bat.
· Nov 25, 2011
Is this bat legal in NC senior league's? Must be 1.20. And asa 2000 and 2004.
Asked by Mike on Nov 20, 2011
It has the 1.20 stamp and is ASA approved.
· Nov 21, 2011
Not sure if someone already asked this but I was reading a lot of the reviews and info on this bat and i couldn't find where it says if this is an endloaded or balanced bat, just curious.
Asked by Big B on Oct 28, 2011
It is a balanced bat.

I've resurrected an old Evo USSA bat as of late, and wondering how The One would compare to that, or a recommendation of something that would have the same feel.
Asked by Jon on Oct 18, 2011
The One will actually be a pretty close comparison to the Evo. Both are pretty comparable in terms of feel and performance. The Evo seemed like it may of had a slightly bigger sweet spot, but that's just my opinion. Out of all the current DeMarini bats out there, The One will be the closest comparision.
· Oct 18, 2011
ok well i have used a worth mutant bat for the last two years what would the differnce from the mutant to this one??
Asked by Corn on Oct 13, 2011
Both are of similar design, 2 piece composites. The One is designed to have a stiffer flex and an extended barrel.
· Oct 13, 2011
I've used the DeMarini Geaser and want to know how they compare. I'm not that big and hit the geyser 300' what can I expect for a sweet spot.
Asked by Mac on Oct 02, 2011
The One is a two piece hybrid that has an extended barrel that hits like a one piece, for a very nice sweet spot. Nice pop after broken in.
· Oct 03, 2011
Im in a coed leauge, is this bat legal? Non composite single wall?
Asked by smiles on Sep 30, 2011
The bat is a composite bat and is double walled.

I have a 2008 DeMarini Juggernaut. I love this bat but its starting to break. Does this bat have the Flex feel as my Juggernaut? If not what bat do you think is most like my Juggernaut.
Asked by Jermaine on Sep 21, 2011
Yes, because of its two piece design this bat will have some of that same flex feel that was in the older Juggernaut.
· Sep 21, 2011
I've got the J2 Flyswatter, and love the feel of it. I'm thinking of getting another DeMarini bat and trying to decide between the The One.12 and The One Sunday Swagger. What are the advantages of each over the other? How's either One going to compare to the J2?
Asked by Phil on Sep 19, 2011
The One.12 is an endloaded bat with a stiffer construction, more for you power hitters but the demarini's are both two peice compostie bats. The Sunday Swagger and the J2 will be the most similar due to their two piece flex technology.
· Sep 22, 2011
i have had the freak plus for about 3 years and loved it.. it is now dying out.. how much different is the one?
Asked by bullydumps on Sep 16, 2011
The One is a very high performing model. The main difference is that The One is an ASA model with the freak plus was a USSSA bat and Then one is a two piece while the freak plus is a stiffer one piece bat. They will perform similarly.
