New for 2012! Year after year, DeMarini's commitment to innovation remains the same - to bring the best bats in the game to players at every skill level. As the DeMarini legend continues to grow in the world of slow pitch softball, you'll notice more and more players launching missiles with their new high-performing DeMarini bat. One of the best selling DeMarini slow pitch bats over the past few seasons has been The One. This season, DeMarini brings The One to the senior softball field! Only approved for SSUSA play, this is literally the HOTTEST bat DeMarini has ever constructed! The One Senior uses 4.One Composite on the barrel and handle to give players a solid feel and ultimate performance! This two-piece design has a one-piece feel to create a power hitter's dream bat. A Clutch 2 Endcap tops off The One to create a stiffness that is designed to hold energy in the barrel and cause explosive hits! The two-piece Hybrid Performance Grip on the The One has a thin feel and faded color design. As with all DeMarini bats, The One is marked with a Rotation Index to remind players to rotate their bat every time up. This creates an even break-in and greatly extends the life of the bat. DeMarini: Insane Dedication to Performance! The One Senior is approved for play in SSUSA. Now Warranty. Free Shipping!

Cons: None
by topcopz - Mar 05, 2012
Pros: great feel and gets better with age.
Cons: price way to high without any type of warranty, I seen new ones crack but not mine.
by PJ - Mar 27, 2012
Pros: great feel and solid hitting
Cons: excessive chipping of outer coating after only 10 hits. Chip sizes very large and along entire barrel. DeMarini was not open to discuss this early chipping and unfortunately the dealer selling this bat to me was not aware that the bat carried no warranty. Was actually sold to me that it had a warranty. Not sure if I would buy another DeMarini bat at this time.

What is the difference in the rating of 1.20 vs 1.21 ? What bats are rated 1.21 ?
Asked by MP on Nov 11, 2011
Bat Performance Factor (BPF) measures the force at which a ball exits a bat when it is not in motion. This limits how fast a ball can come off a bat. The higher the BPF, the higher performing the bat will be. There are some Senior Softball Bats that exceed the 1.20 BPF standard like the Miken Ultra II. tThese bats are only approved for Senior Softball Associations as they are too hot for ASA and USSSA standards.

I play mens fastpitch, would you recommend this bat for 'league" play or will the thin wall most likely dent with a fastpitch? I like the senior bats as they seem to have great pop.
Asked by Jeff on Nov 03, 2011
It could possibly dent with the thin walls. Give our reps a call and they can guide you to a bat that suits what you are needing.
