Pros: Bat arrived in excellent condition. I could tell a big difference within 2 weeks of my daughter using the bat. She had to get use to using a drop 10 after using a drop 13 the past season. When she got use to the bat, you could tell that it has a lot of pop. It really has increased her hitting distance.
Cons: None
New for 2012! Establishing a bat as a household name in every aspect of baseball and softball is no easy task. From fastpitch softball to youth baseball, the Easton Stealth Speed has built such a phenomenal reputation that its name speaks for itself. This year's Stealth Speed is no different with its patented two-piece full composite design with ConneXion technology. ConneXion allows for optimum feel at impact while maximizing energy transfer from the barrel to the ball. The composite material used in the barrel of the Stealth Speed has a fantastic reputation of its own. IMX Composite is a staple of Easton's arsenal as it optimizes the sweet spot for incredible performance. The Stealth Speed features a lower Moment of Inertia (M.O.I.) which means this bat has a lighter-feeling swing weight to help players generate faster swings and ultimately, more POWER! The ultra thin 29/32 inch CNT Composite handle is adorned with Easton's new Focus Flex handle technology that also increases the power of a player's swing. Wrapped around the handle is Easton's performance diamond grip that provides optimal tack and cushioned comfort. Easton: Know-Feel-Be The Difference! The Stealth Speed is backed by a Full Twelve (12) Month Manufacturer's Warranty. Free Shipping!

Pros: Tried out this bat this evening and it has a lot of pop. The gripping of the bat is much better than the 2011 stealth and does have a great sweet spot. Highly recommend it.
Cons: Not having it :(
by Go Mexico Sliders - Apr 01, 2012
Pros: Daughter loves this bat. The head balance drives the sweet spot through the hitting zone and the ball pops off of the bat. Comfortable grip. Ordered the bat through Just Bats, Great Company!!
Cons: Absolutely None.
by Kristi - Apr 26, 2012
Pros: My 14 year old daughter first used the bat at a tournament. She hit 2 stand up triples for 4 RBI's, 1 walk off, 3 run homerun, and a couple of singles. Everthing she hit just jumped off the bat. She has a Demarini CF4 and CF5 and did not like how they felt. She loves this bat!
Cons: NOTHING!
by PSES1015 - Apr 28, 2012

Pros: Great bat with a lot of pop to hit. Great sweet spot.
Cons: I purchased the bat in March 2012 and the barrel cracked in May. It was great while we had it.
by Frosty - Apr 24, 2012
Pros: Bought this bat for my daughter who was a decent hitter but now she is hitting to the fence big difference. I was a firm believer in it's not the bat it is the person swinging it it seems I was wrong.
Cons: Not buying it sooner.
by Brooke - May 07, 2012
Pros: This bat has a great sweet spot! It is really solid.
Cons: My bat broke after less than a year. It is great while it lasts.
by Bekah - Mar 21, 2012
Pros: My team has this bat as a team bat and I've been hitting with it all season. I am absolutely in love with it. I had a game on Monday where I hit back to back homeruns with this bat. When you make contact with the ball, it just flies. I have never had any of that awful vibration on my hands whenever I hit it right off the end of the bat. I used to swing the DeMarini CF4, but it broke at practice last week, so I'm definitely buying this one for my next bat.
Cons: None!
by Jessica - Jan 29, 2012
Pros: This bat is awesome. My daughter had the 2011 and now the 2012. She will never use another bat again. She is 12 and has benn playing select fastpitch softball since she has been 9. SHe is hitting harder and farther then ever.
Cons: none yet!!!!!

Ask QuestionMy daughter is a left handed slapper, 5' and 92 lbs, 13 yrs old. Plays travel ball and made varsity for high school (combined 7th to 12th ). She is a lead off slapper for travel and not a power hitter. Between this bat and the DeMarini CF5, which would be better? Thanks!
Asked by james on May 07, 2012
To be completely honest with you, both the CF5 and Stealth Speed are two of the highest end bats on the market. Both are two piece, full composite bats. It's really going to come down to your personal preference as both the Stealth Speed and CF5 are great bats often preferred by slap hitters.

What is difference between this bat and the model SCN6B that my daughter uses now?
Asked by Mark on Apr 29, 2012
There is not a huge difference between the two bats. The 2012 uses new IMX composite material in the barrel of the bat. Both use the CNT technology, for great durability and performance.

My daughter is 12 and plays competitive softball. She is a contact hitter, fast bat speed but can hit with pretty good power. I don't want an end loaded bat for her but trying to decide between the Easton Speed, Synergy, or Xeno? Thoughts?
Asked by JW on Apr 26, 2012
Stronger hitters with good bat speed usually benefit from one piece bats like the Synergy or Xeno. I think the Synergy may be a little more balanced than the Xeno. All three bats are on the same level in terms of pop, but the Synergy may be my top recommendation.
· Apr 26, 2012
Hello... I have a question about fast pitch softball bats in general. I was told that my bat had to have a special sticker thing to be able to use it in a game, so how do I tell which bats are approved and which aren't? And if im about 6'2 and 14 yrs old what bat would you recommend? Thanks
Asked by Sammy the Slugger on Apr 19, 2012
It all depends on what league or organization you play under as they all have different regulations in regard to certification marks on their bats. I recommend giving our support team a call at 1-866-321-2287 and we can help guide you in the right direction.

How does the Easton stealth FP11ST10 compare to Louisville Slugger Xeno FP12X?
Asked by Mitch on Apr 17, 2012
The Easton Stealth Speed and the Louisville Slugger TPS Xeno are very similar bats. Both of them are two piece composite designs and will have the same amount of pop. The two bats will perform very similarly and you can't really go wrong with either!

I have heard that the two piece composite bats are more fragile than one piece. Is this true about the Stealth Speed?
Asked by Rob on Feb 20, 2012
There really isn't any truth to that statement, or enough facts to back it up. So... I would say that the Stealth Speed has just as good durability as any other two piece bat.

Can this bat be used in cold weather?
Asked by Paul on Feb 20, 2012
Since this bat is a composite bat, it is not recommended to use in temperatures that are about 55 degrees or lower. This doesn't mean you absolutely can't use the bat in these temperatures, but is recommended to really limit your bats use, as it can decrease the life of your bat.

What is the break in reccomendation for this bat?
Asked by Fish on Dec 15, 2011
To break in a composite bat you should take 100-200 swings off a tee or soft toss. Rotate the barrel about a 1/4 inch each hit to break in the composite material evenly. Stay away from the yellow dimpled balls in the batting cages because they can damage the bat.
