New for 2012! Stiff feel, composite design, ultimate power. The all-new Easton Synergy Speed fastpitch softball bat is THE bat power hitters will be swinging this season. Made from Easton's acclaimed IMX Composite, the one-piece Synergy Speed will produce power that players didn't even know they had. The IMX Composite barrel optimizes the sweet spot of the Synergy Speed for maximum performance. Using Single System Technology that improves bat control and balance, the IMX barrel is seamlessly fused with the CNT Composite handle that provides the durable backbone and stiff feel of the Synergy Speed. Measuring 29/32 inches, the ultra thin tapered handle is adorned with a diamond performance grip that makes the Synergy Speed easy to firmly grip while swinging for the fences. Plus, the Synergy Speed features a lower Moment of Inertia (M.O.I.) which means players get a lighter feeling bat. Low M.O.I.'s help players increase their swing speed and ultimately gain more power! Swing the Synergy Speed this season and start racking up bigger hits! Easton: Know-Feel-Be The Difference! The Synergy Speed is backed by a Full Twelve (12) Month Manufacturer's Warranty. Free Shipping!

Pros: No "Ding" with this bat! Solid performance from top to bottom. ...firm believer that better composite bats perform 25% to 30% better in distance hitting vs cheaper non-composite bats. Also check out the CF5.

Cons: none yet

Ask Question

26254

Is this bat end loaded?

No. The Synergy Speed is a well balanced bat with a lower MOI for faster swing speeds.

25684

When I buy this bat will it have the new USSSA stamp needed for play after sept 2013?

Yes it will. If you refer to the Product Images, you will be able to see the stamp.

25679

This bat and the FP11ST10 apear to have the same materials and be very similar except this is one piece and the stealth is a two piece. Is there any other diference and what is the advantage/disadvantage of one piece vs two piece?

One-piece bats are more stiff and are advantageous to power hitters because they help generate more power. Two-piece bats will offer a little bit of flex and are more preferred by contact hitters.

24787

Looking at buying my daughter a new bat. Will this bat be legal in 2013, or do I need to wait for the 2013's? When will the 2013 models come out?

The 2012 Easton Synergy Speed has the required 2013 USSSA 1.20 BPF stamp and will be legal in USSSA in 2012 and 2013. We do not have an estimated time when the 2013 models will be released.

23336

Which bat is better for a power hitter this bat or the 2012 Easton Stealth Speed?

Typically, stronger power hitters prefer a one piece bat like the Synergy.

22611

My DD uses an Easton Synergy Clarity SRV1B. It is a couple of years old and I would like to replace it. Which of the new Easton Synergy bats (speed or stealth) is most like the Easton Synergy Clarity?

The Synergy Speed with its one-piece composite design will be more like the Synergy Clarity than the two-piece Stealth.

21780

Is this bat approved and legal for NCAA play? Don't wanna get the bat if it's not.

Yes it is. The FP11SY10 is legal for NCAA play and it is on their approved bat list.

17904

What is M.O.I?

MOI stands for Moment of Inertia. In baseball terminology, this refers to the amount of energy required to swing a bat. Not all manufacturer's release the MOI of their bats, but a lower MOI means it will have a lighter swing weight and require less energy to swing the bat.

15561

Is that bat considered balanced? (as opposed to end loaded, etc.)

The FP11SY10 is a balanced bat.

13721

I read that the SRV4B was approved by all major organizations (ie. NSA, ASA, USSSA) except NCAA play. Is this newer version (FP11SY10)approved by all organizations as well as NCAA? If NCAA approved, what changed from last year's model to allow NCAA approval. THANKS!

This bat is going to be allowed in NCAA for this year. It has the new USSSA B.P.F 1.15 stamp that makes it legal. The only changes they made for this year was a cosmetic change and that it meets the 1.15 B.P.F

12885

Will this bat be available in a 33/24?

No, it is only available in a 33/23. The 2012 Easton Stealth Speed: FP11ST9 is available in a 33/24. The Stealth Speed is going to be similar to the Synergy Speed.

12676

Is this bat all composite?

Yes. It is all composite.

12604

Is this a good bat for power hitters? And is it approved by ASA, USSSA, etc.?

Yes, it is a good bat for power hitters, it is ASA and USSSA approved

11241

Does this bat run in 28/18

I've not seen this one in a 28-18, smallest I've seen is the 29-19.

11159

Which bat is better for a contact hitter, the Frenzy 4.0 or this bat?

Both are designed the same, so either one would be good.

11026

Is this the newer version of the 2011 Synge?

No. Easton will be releasing a newer version of the Synge shortly.

10383

What are the differences in this bat and the SRV4B

This bat will be very comparable to last years model. This bat will have very good pop and be very durable. Excellent choice.

Yes, the batr has the USSSA stamp on it
