Pros: Wow... Out of the wrapper it had great pop. Now with over 200 at bats it is getting Crazy. Others on the team are wondering where I am getting the extra distance from with excellent placement. BIG sweet spot and forgiving when fisted or off the cap.
Cons: That I did not buy 2 of them.
New for 2012! The Craze is back and looking to make a definitive statement in the slow pitch market this season! This bat combines unbelievable pop with rock solid durability and a comfortable lightweight swing. Made from Mizuno's Black Array Carbon, the Craze is built for explosive power. The durability of the Craze has been increased with the addition of more resin throughout the barrel. This toughness is also enhanced through the use of upgraded glass fiber which also gives players an unbelievable feeling on contact. A new coiled end cap combined with the Craze's balanced design gives players a lower swing weight and better control. A new process called the Cylinder Seaming Technique eliminates inconsistencies, producing a flawless design. A new 13 inch barrel increases the Craze's sweetspot and gives players even more explosiveness. Finished off with a comfortable Digi-Grip Wrap, the Craze will have players swinging for the fences like never before! Mizuno: Be Yourself. Only Better! The Craze is approved for play in ASA, USSSA, ISA, NSA, and ISF. This bat doesn NOT carry a warranty. Free Shipping!

Pros: Got this bat a month ago and it was great out of the wrapper. I am a place hitter not a power hitter. This is a great line drive bat though a couple guys have gone yard with it. I have played for six seasons and have been a great place hitter so that's what I stick to. If your looking for a great team bat this is the one.
Cons: none

Pros: Great price, no break-in needed. Had pop right out of the wrapper. Lightweight and balanced; perfect for a 55 yr old woman to get clean, crisp base shots. Great bat for senior women.

Pros:
Cons: end cap broke after just 10 hits and Mizuno will not let you buy a new one to replace it. Poor customer service.

Pros: Great POP and bat speed with the 34/26. If your an average hitter this bat will make you better!
Cons: No Warranty :(.. so your taking a chance on the life of the bat.

People tell me you should avoid using this bat below 50 degrees for fear of cracking, etc. Any comments?

The composite materials can be damaged in colder temperatures. You shouldn't use composite bats below 50 degrees.

I just started back playing this past year after a 4yr break. The last few yrs before I quit was using the Envy. This year back liked my teammate's Miken Ultra II. How do they compare? Also, like thin-handled bats?? Have always been a big Mizuno fan, but no one in league had one, so no news?? Help please!
Asked by sscf824 on Nov 05, 2011
Based on my opinion, the Ultra II with be a much better performing bat than the Envy. The Envy was decent and felt good to swing, but the Ultra II simply has more pop. The Ultra II will have a slimmer than average handle.

I'm looking into the Mizuno Craze ASA and the Frenzy Elite ASA. Which would you consider to be a better all around bat?
Asked by Miz on Oct 20, 2011
I would give an edge to the Frenzy Elite in terms of pop, feel and durability. The Mizuno Craze can't be beat in the $150 price range, but I don't think it is quite on the same performance level as the Frenzy Elite.

Im really undeciced about what bat to get I originally was looking into the salvo but then I saw the craze in a magazine wich bat would be the better one to get?
Asked by nick on Sep 29, 2011
The Craze is a super hot bat! Just be aware of there not being a warranty. But the price adjusts for that.

I had an envy and it was stolen:(. I would like to know if this is the next bat up form one of the best bats I have every had.
Asked by Coach Juicy on Sep 16, 2011
It's been several years since the Envy was in production, but the Craze is a viable option if you're looking for something similary. The Envy may have a bit more pop, but some would argue.
