New for 2012! This season, Mizuno looks to make a definitive statement in the fastpitch market with the release of the Frenzy 4.0! This bat combines unbelievable pop with rock solid durability and a comfortable lightweight swing. Made from Mizuno's Black Onyx Carbon, the Frenzy is designed for maximum composite performance. A larger new sweetspot extending from the "R" to the "Y" is unsurpassed in length and forgiveness, ensuring that the Frenzy will have players dropping bombs this season. Mizuno added more resin throughout the barrel as well, enabling the already tough Frenzy to be more durable than ever before! A new lightweight end cap combined with the Frenzy's balanced design give players a lower swing weight and better bat control. The transition zone between the barrel and handle employs Mizuno's Anti-Shock Construction that significantly lessens vibration and improves the feel of the bat. This feel is also enhanced through the use of Mizuno's high-quality cushioned grip that gives players ultimate tack and a comfortable swing. There's a reason why major universities are switching to the Frenzy. Find out for yourself. Mizuno: Be Yourself. Only Better! This bat is backed by a Full Twelve (12) Month Manufacturer's Warranty. I am stuck with the decision of the Worth 454 and the easton synergy speed and the frenzy 4.0. I would like to have the feel of the old synergy clarity SRV1B, Which would you recommend.
Asked by Softball rookie on Dec 11, 2011
It is really going to be a personal preference, I like the synergy because of the stiff feel it has

Trying to decide if I want to buy my daughter the new Frenzy 4.0 or the C5,she's using the Vendetta C6 right now and its a good bat with a lot of pop,Is having more flex in a two piece bat better than a one piece bat, what's the difference?
Asked by Softball Dad on Oct 26, 2011
The biggest difference is most "power hitters" prefer 1 piece bats. The Frenzy is a great 1 piece, nicely balanced, great pop with a little break in, and the anti-vibration to reduce the sting. If she really likes her Vendetta C-6 the CF5 would be closest to that.

How does it compare to the Frenzy 3.0
Asked by gucci on Oct 17, 2011
The 4.0 is simply the new Frenzy model. There isn't a difference between the two bats.

How does the 2012 Mizuno Frenzy 4.0: MZF410 compare to the CF4 and CF5? I am trying to determine which bat to buy for my 11 year old daughter. She is a strong, power hitter.
Asked by DD Swinging on Sep 15, 2011
Both use high quality composite construction and have an enlarged sweet spot. Both bats are balanced. The main difference is the CF4 and CF5 are two piece bats and have a little more flex than the one piece Frenzy.
