Pros: Looks beautiful! Good form produces good hits, no matter what bat you use.
Cons: The bat stings when my daughter hits the ball. "Oww, you're hurting me!" Pleeezze.

Pros: only used it in the cage but 10 year old daughter seems to be real happy with it see how it holds up to a full season of travel ball.

Are there any cold weather concerns when using this bat? Its 40* outside today and my daughter has a game. We just bought this bat for her to use.

It is really recommended not to use any bat too much in temperatures that are 50* or lower. While, you can still use the bat a little, I would really recommend limiting the use as much as you can.

A lighter bat like this one is a great choice for a first year player. It is a bat that will have good pop and she should have a lot of success with it.

Is there break-in requirements on this bat? Is there a temperature limit in colder climate?

This bat is a full composite bat, and does require a break in period. We suggest hitting about 150-200 hits with a soft toss and start out at about 40% power and increase as you get closer to the 150 hit mark. Make sure you rotate the bat about a quarter of an inch after each hit to ensure an even break in. Also, since it is made out of composite material, it is not recommended to use this bat in temperatures colder than about 50-55 degrees.

13 YEAR OLD TRAVEL BALL PLAYER, NOW USING A 33 " 21 OUNCE COMPOSITE lOUSISVILLE. hER SWING IS NOT FAST ENOUGH. SHE IS A BIG GIRL AT 57 " AND ABOUT 145 LBS. SHE SHOULD BE POUNDING IT. NEEDS HER OWN BAT, WOULD THIS INCREASE HER SPEED BUT NOT BE TOO LIGHT FOR HER BUILD?

My daughter 12U batting coach says she has quick hands and hits balls most girls would not but her hits are not hard. Makes consistant contact but not sharp hard hits. What would you recomend to get the pop. super light or 4.0. or any other

I am looking for a fastpitch bat for my daughter. She doesn't have the quickest swing so I was looking for a bat with an 11 or 12 drop that has a good sweet spot and pop. I know the bat doesn't make the player, but I wanted your opinion on this Mizuno vs some of the other popular bats with the characteristics that I am looking for.

The Frenzy is a good lightweight, balanced bat with great swing speed. The lenght and weight of the bat wil be determined by your daughters height and weight.
