Pros: Well balanced and has a ton of pop right out of the wrapper. I bought this bat for my 10 year old daughter and she is loving it. Balls that were solid line drives into center field are now solid drives hitting the fence in the air. During soft toss drills she hit one over the fence!!! If nothing else it has increased her confidence which is huge at that age level. Props to Rip It for a great bat!!!

Cons: The graphics were not quite applied correctly so there is a little ridge in the logo but other then that...NOTHING!!!

New for 2012! More performance and more durability make swinging the RIP-IT Force Light MORE FUN! This bat marks the first time RIP-IT has fused Beyond Composite Technology (BCT) into its single wall of Advanced Tempered Ballistic Alloy in a balanced design! This creates an incredibly lightweight bat that will give younger players an opportunity to fully realize their potential! BCT gives players faster swing speed, better control and maximum distance on EVERY SWING. "Every Swing" is emphasized because there is NO break-in period with the Force Light. You will get maximum performance from swing 1 to swing 10,000. The one-piece design of this bat allows for the maximum amount of energy transfer from the bat to the ball, adding power and distance to every single hit. Players will be able to feel the contact on well hit balls because there will be no sting. This is thanks to the Vibration Dampening Grip that will keep players' hands vibration and sting-free. Its raised ridge design also teaches proper mechanics and makes the Force Light easy to hold on to. When Performance Matters, Just RIP-IT! The Force Light is backed by a 30 day no questions asked performance guarantee and an exclusive 400 day manufacturer's warranty. Free Shipping!

Pros: This was a replacement for a Rip-it Elie Light Bat that broke. This one is hotter and my daughter likes it even better. Plus there has been no rattle issue or any other issue at all. Did not need breaking in. A really nice bat with great pop and I love the sound when she hits the ball.

Cons: Really none so far.

Looking for Rip It bat for 9 year old daughter. How does Force Light compare to Reaper Light? How does end weighted compare to balanced?

The only difference between the 2012 RIP-IT Force Light: FORL1 and the 2012 RIP-IT Reaper Light: REAL1 is the Reaper Light is end loaded. End loaded bats are better suited for power hitters. Balanced bats are better for players who need more bat speed.

Is this bat approved for the 2013 USSSA requirements (required stamp)?

The FORL1 doesn't have the new USSSA stamp.

My daughter is 10 years old. Is this bat ok for her or is the RIP-IT for $49 a better fit?

They are both great options. However, the 2012 RIP-IT Force Light: FORL1 Fastpitch bat is going to be higher performing bat compared to the Foxy.

10779

Are RIP-IT bats made of 2 different types of metal?

The 2012 RIP-IT Force Light: FORL1 Fastpitch bat is made of advanced tempered ballistic alloy. All RIP-IT bats are going to be alloy bats. However, a couple of these bats will feature RIP-IT's Beyond Composite Technology. An example of this technology is in the 2012 RIP-IT Force: FORC6 Fastpitch bat and can be seen at http://www.justbats.com/product/2012-rip-it-force--forc6-fastpitch/14154/
