New for 2013! Denny Crine took the softball world by surprise last season by partnering with Miken to release one of the hottest new bats on the field, the DC-41. Denny Crine knows power, and that's what the DC-41 is all about. Utilizing a SuperMax endload, this bat is ideal for players that swing for the fences every time up. The DC-41 also employs Miken's new Vortex Power Source handle that harnesses the power of multiple layers of composite braids to give this bat ultimate strength and performance. Moving up the barrel, the DC-41 uses Hyperbolic Barrel Flex (HBF) Technology to "fully release" the multi-layer walls of the bat to produce hot out of the wrapper performance. This initial power is further enhanced by Durashell Technology (DST), which also acts as a composite shield to increase the durability of the DC-41. This bat is constructed using Miken's top of the line R900 Composite to create a slick one-piece design. R900 has years of unrivaled performance under its belt by providing significantly higher tensile strength and elongation than the industry standard. If you play U-trip ball and hit for power, this is the bat to own. Miken: We Don't Play the Game, We Dominate It! The DC-41 is approved for play in USSSA, NSA, ISA and ISF. It is backed by a Full Twelve (12) Month Manufacturer's Warranty. Free Shipping!

It says that the DC-41 is supermax endloaded, so exactly what does that mean? One other thing, about how many hits does it takes to break in the DC-41?

The 2013 Miken DC-41 SuperMax will have more weight at the end of the barrel, better designed for a power hitter. Normally 100 -200 swings should break in the bat. Make sure to rotate the barrel about a 1/4 inch each swing.

Does this bat come in ASA?

The 2013 Miken DC-41 SuperMax is not ASA approved. However, there are five MIken bats that are ASA approved; http://www.justbats.com/products/softball%20bats~slow%20pitch/approved%20for~asa/vendor~miken/

Would you say that this is one of the better bats that Miken has out on the market so far?

The 2013 Miken DC-41 is one of the best bats on the market from Miken.

Will this bat be USSSA approved after 2013 and 2014. I'm reading of some bats that will be approved through 2013 but then not approved after that.

This bat has the new USSSA stamp. This will make the bat legal for use in 2012 and beyond (unless the rules happen to change again).

I heard that USSA is changing the rules on the bats after 2012. Is this bat going to be legal after 2012, since it is the 2013 model?

The DC-41 SuperMax SDC41U is approved for play after 2012. It has all the correct USSSA Stamps with the B.P.F. 1.20

This bat does have the new USSSA stamp on it, and as of right now will be legal for use after 2012.
