My daughter is swinging a 30/18.5 Easton Synergy Extended. She is 12, weighs about 95, but kills the ball. Would a 454 31/19 be a good next step ?
Asked by jay on May 01, 2012
The FP4L12 454 Legit is a very good bat and has tons of pop. The 454 technology extends the sweet spot 2" on both sides giving the player maximum power. The FP4L12 would be a great choice for any player who likes a well balanced bat and looking to add more pop.

My daughter is 12 and weighs 103 lbs. She is about 5'4. What size would she need in the bat?
Asked by dana on Apr 18, 2012
Based on her height and weight, I would suggest going with a 30-31 inch bat. The weight really depends on what she would feel most comfortable swinging and is usually a step or two up from whatever weight she is currently swinging. Most 12 year olds typically swing a -10 or -12 bat depending on how strong they are.

My daughter is playing 12u softball. She is 58" and 100lbs. What length and weight would you recommend? She prefers a balanced bat.

A good length for her will be a 31". The weight will vary on what feels best to her, a common weight will be 21oz. This is a good bat and has a balanced feel and has the extended sweet spot and be a perfect bat for her.

Both of these bats will have great pop and a large sweet spot. These bats will be very durable and should last many seasons. Choosing one over the other will be based on the players choice.
