Pros: Took it to the cages last week. Was hitting .44 core 375 Dudleys. Bat is solid right out of the Wrapper. Great feel, good balanced swing weight. Cant wait for it to get warmer to swing it outside and see what it can really do!
Cons: None yet.......

Pros: THIS BAT IS AWESOME , MY 1ST 3 SWINGS WITH WRAPPER STILL ON WAS 325+ .
Cons: EVERYONE WANTS TO USE IT
by Terminator - Apr 18, 2012
Pros: This bat is incredible. I've played two games so far this year. I've put everything to the 300' fence. I moved all the outfielders back and STILL hit it over their heads everytime. Excellent pop out of the wrapper. No break in needed, just unwrap and swing. I hit 3 grounders as well because I topped the ball, but they had so much speed the infield didn't even move. They just went right through the shortstop and 3rd basemen to the outfield grass. If you want to win....buy this bat. I'd love to see what the endloaded Orange 454 would do because this Yellow 454 which is balanced hits bombs.
Cons: None besides the fact that everybody is going to want to use it after they see you hit.

Pros: I've owned and swung lot's of bats that were hyped as hot out of the wrapper, but this bat truly is. Just got a 26 oz and went straight to game night. I have the balanced version and this thing was smoking lasers from the first swing and I don't even feel the ball leave the bat. the ss is huge and responsive. I also have a Mutant and a Titan EL. This bat beats them both. It's going to be lethal after break-in.
Cons: Zero

Pros: I took it the batting cages straight out of the box. I have swung a lot bats but, I have NEVER felt a ball come off a bat like I did with this. I CAN NOT WAIT for game time. I gave it a 4 out of 5 simply cause I havent hit in a game yet. But if the cages are a precursor to the came, no more legging out doubles for me. BTW we play on 325' fenced fields.
Cons: None

What's the difference between maxloaded and balanced? How come this bat shows the 2012 stamp but is 2013?
Asked by gmoney on Feb 13, 2012
The difference between maxloaded and balanced is the weight distribution. A maxloaded bat is going to feel more weighted at the end of the barrel, as to where a balanced bat is going to be weighted evenly distributed. This bat also has the 2013 stamp on it so it will be legal for years to come.

Is it true the new 2013 454 the more you hit this bat it starts to loose it pop after a period of time? Just bought one and this bat is hot.
Asked by Scotty25 on Feb 08, 2012
Composite material actually get higher performing as it breaks in, and you are right the SB4LUS is a hot bat out of the wrapper. This is a great bat and has tons of pop.

Will the bats made this year be legal next year?
Asked by bobby on Dec 26, 2011
For USSSA, all bats with the old USSSA stamp/mark will be grandfathered (legal) through the end of 2012. If the bat has the new USSSA stamp like this bat (see product images and features), it will be legal for 2012, 2013 and beyond.
