Pros: Seriously, this bat has heavy duty hitting power. its light weight 28oz and feels so nice when you swing. Just have to make sure you get a full nice swing and guaranteed it will slap the crap out the ball. i just started using it in my ASA league and kid you not, the shots keep raining over the head of the out fielders.
Cons: depending on the league. some leagues do not allow white bats because obstruction with the ball. make sure you show the thunder logo alot so they don't call you out on it. :)
The Brett Brothers understand that having reliable wood is the most important component in creating a wood bat. The Bamboo/Maple hybrid design of the Thunder has made it one of the most popular wood slow pitch softball bats of all time. The bamboo core and maple barrel make this bat nearly indestructible. The newest model features a sleek new design and Brett Bros. patented BOA wrap. These bats have an approximate -6 length to weight ratio and are ASA Approved. The Brett Brothers have been involved in baseball their entire lives, through Bobby and John's Minor League careers to the Professional careers of Ken and George. Needless to say, the Brett Brothers know baseball. Even today baseball is an important part of their lives, with each brother being involved in their own way. George, who is still a part of the Kansas City Royals Organization and a hometown hero here in Kansas City, was a career .305 hitter with 3 Batting Titles, a 1985 World Series Ring and an induction to the Hall of Fame in 1999 to round out his 21 year career in Kansas City. Not only did he prove to be a consistent hitter he showed that he had the knowledge to succeed. Trust a bat from guys that have been around the game their entire lives. Brett Bros: The Very Best! Is this bat good for cold weather usage....
Asked by bky on Oct 17, 2011
Bamboo and Maple are two of the strongest woods out there. They will hold up better than other woods in colder weather.
· Oct 18, 2011
Being that this is a wood bat it would be a better option for cold weather compared to other materials such as Composite bats. With wood bats you are not going to have to worry about temperature and things to that nature.

hello, what is the diameter of the top meaty part of the bat. need to know the full circumference for my league.
Asked by elvis on May 12, 2011
The diameter of the meaty part of the bat is 2.21. This is a wooden bat, so it could change just slightly on certain bats.
