Pros: Bulldog is right. It takes about 300 swings to break this bat in, but once broken in, nothing but bombs from this thing. Its AT LEAST as hot as an ultra, but given that I have over 700 swings in mine, there is no comparison.
Cons: Hmm? Over 700 cuts and it launches bombs? What more could you want?
New for 2012! COMbat introduces it's first senior softball bat, the Centenarian! Believe them when they say that this bat is TOO HOT FOR KIDS! The Centenarian conforms to the classic COMbat one-piece fully composite design that has made their bats a household name. The Centenarian uses Blended Fiber Technology in unison with Anisotropic Composite Technology to create a complex composite weave that is carefully tuned to give this bat a perfect inner design for hitting the long ball! You'll know when that long ball is coming too, as the Centenarian has a distinct "crack" when you hit it right on the sweetspot. It will become like music to your ears. The sweetspot is greatly enhanced by the multi-wall design that also gives the Centenarian extra durability. In fact, COMbat has improved all of it's materials and designs to give this bat a 26.8% increase in durability over previously tested bats! This allows COMbat to employ what it calls a Super Soft Barrel which equates to one thing: PERFORMANCE! Combined with the BFT Stiff Taper handle, the Centenarian is meant to mimic the way a tennis racket works, with incredible trampoline effect! The Centenarian is topped off with a Low Compression End Cap that eliminates end cap failures previously found on other senior softball bats, while eliminating sting for the player! COMbat: For Players, By Players! The Centenarian is approved for SSA and SSUSA. It does not come with a Warranty. Free Shipping!

Pros: This bat takes about 200-300 hits to break in, but when it does the ball explodes off the bat. It as good or better than any ultra I have ever hit with. Mine has over 600 swings and is still going strong.
Cons: The paint chips easily, but then again as long as it doesn't break, who cares!
by Mike117 - May 01, 2012
Pros: Great feel right out of the wrapper. I haven't even gotten it broke in yet and have hit a couple over the 300 foot fences and I'm more of a line drive hitter. Nice bat so far and expect even more when it is broke in.
Cons: The paint chips off, but not a problem as long as it doesn't crack.

Pros: The bat has great pop once broken in. last longer than the Ultra
Cons: The end cap will not stay on.
by Little Ronnie - Mar 31, 2012
Pros: Good Pop...gotta hit it on the sweet spot...added about 20-30ft to distance. Great weight distribution
Cons: 1st time using comp bat...gotta get used to it. stings hands when hitting near handles

Ask QuestionIs this bat ASA approved and if not what is the hottest fully loaded bat available that is ASA approved?
Asked by Jack on Apr 20, 2012
The CENSP1-FL is not ASA approved (see Bat Features). A few of the hottest max-load ASA bats on the market are the Miken SNXTMA and Worth RS454A.

does this bat hit further then the ultra II?
Asked by jd on Oct 18, 2011
I've hit with both and I felt like I got an extra 5-10 feet or so feet with the Ultra II. The Centenarian wasn't too far behind though and it's definitely a high performer.

What is the difference between fully loaded and balanced?
Asked by charlie on Oct 07, 2011
Fully Loaded will be an endloaded bat. A balanced bat has the weight evenly distributed. End loaded bats are normally used by power hitters.
