Pros: This is an awsome bat. daughter is 10 and plays on a 12u travel team.she has a great swing..this bat has a bunch of POP. her combat is already fully broken in and when she gets a hold of the ball it goes...definitely reccommend this bat to 10u players...
Cons: not doublewall.
Lisa Fernandez is without a doubt a legend in fastpitch softball. ComBat has worked closely with Lisa Fernandez on the construction of this bat and it feels great and outperforms anything on the market. If it has Lisa's name on it, you can be sure the level of performance is legendary. With very long barrels and single wall construction the LFFP3 has unmatched durability and the performance of a double wall. The -12 drop is specifically designed for the younger and smaller player in mind to promote bat speed and control. The LFFP3 incorporates Variable Stiffness Technology which allows for lower barrel wall stiffness on both sides of the normal sweetspot, resulting in an enlarged sweet hitting area. Also found only in the LFFP3 is Blended Fiber Technology, where Arimid fibers ( found in bullet proof vests ) is combine with carbon and glass fibers in varying proportions and precise angles to get more trampoline effect and absorb vibrations resulting in more energy transfer to the ball and greater distance. What this really means is, longer barrel lengths and lighter bats resulting in maximum allowable performance. This bat has the power, performance and feel that you are looking for. Swing like an Olympian - add a Lisa Fernandez bat to your arsenal! ComBat -For Players/By Players. Free Shipping

Pros: Great Bat!! We had a Miken Freak Fx700 lite and it had no pop even after 8 months of use. We purchased this bat and right out of the wrapper the bat had pop. We used it in hitting practice and then a tournament 3 days after getting it and my daughter hit back to back triples. Awesome bat for a great price!
Cons: None

Pros: My daughter has been using this model for 2 years now and she hits so well that when it became necessary to get a longer bat the choice was easy. I would recommend this bat to anyone, great pop, balanced , large sweet spot,my daughter is 4'7" 85 lbs and consistently hits hard line drives.
Cons: none except not my daughters favorite color

Pros: my daughter loves this bat. She is 6 years old and the ball is jumping off the bat now. This bat is such a upgrade compared to the cheap little bats they make for the little girls.
Cons: none

Does this bat have the new stamp needed for 2013?
Asked by patriots6 on Apr 01, 2012
If you are referring to the new USSSA stamp, then no, this bat does not have the new stamp. This bat still has the old stamp which will not be legal in 2013.

Is it hot out of the wrapper or not?
Asked by softballgirl43 on Feb 28, 2012
This a a 100% composite bat and does require a break in. A good break-in period requires about 150-200 hits off a tee or soft toss, starting at about 40% power then increasing to 90 or 100% as you get closer to the 200 swing mark. Be sure to rotate the bat a quarter of an inch in your hands between each swing to ensure the entire surface of the barrel is broken in evenly

How does the COMbat bat compare to the Louisville Slugger Catalyst? I am needing a team bat for 7 and 8 year old team.
Asked by Coach on Feb 27, 2012
Both are great performing bats. If this is going to be a team bat, I may lean more towards the Combat as it may have a slight edge in terms of durability.

Is there also a Combat LFFP3? If so, what's the difference between that and the LFFP33?
Asked by rick on Dec 07, 2011
There was a Combat LFFP3 that is no longer in production. There really is no difference between the two. The LFFP33 is simply a newer model.

Which is a hotter bat when it is brand new an easton synge or a combat lisa fernandez (-12)?
Asked by Tommy on Nov 06, 2011
Both are all composite and must be broken in before use in games. They both will be hot once they are broken in correctly.

The few reviews are from 9 & 10 year olds. I have a 12 year old that has alot of issues with hand sting. What have you heard from older players and how is this bat dfferent to help reduce the hand stinging?

Is there a break-in period for the bat?
Asked by Jack on Jun 26, 2011
Yes. A good break-in period requires about 100 to 150 hit of a tee starting at about 40% power then increasing to 90 or 100% as you get closer to the 150 swing mark. Be sure to rotate the bat a quarter of an inch in your hands between each swing to ensure the entire surface of the barrel is broken in evenly.

What's the difference between this and the COMbat Lisa Fernandez: LFFP22 Fastpitch bat?
Asked by GMoney on Jan 18, 2011
The only difference is the length to weight ratio. The LFFP33 will be a -12 and the LFFP22 will be a -10. This means the LFFP33 will be a ligher weight compared to the LFFP22 of the same length.
