Pros: Bat feels balanced even though it had a slight end load. Nice pop when you hit the barrel. Virtually no sting of the hands or end. Good pop out of the wrapper. Should be awesome after break in.

Cons: Bat feels light for 27oz. Swings like it is an ounce or two lighter. Will take a couple of swings to adjust.

Last year's success of the DeMarini The One slow pitch softball bat gave DeMarini no choice but to bring it back for its second go around. This time, they brought out the end loaded version called the One.12. With a new look and same great design, The One.12 is here to hold its spot at the top of the slow pitch softball world. The One.12 has the new 4.One Composite Barrel technology. This revolutionary technology maximizes the sweet spot with a stiffer barrel for a one piece feel. This bat really pushes the limits of the ASA 98 mph rating. The One.12 is a must-have for the serious slow pitch fanatic that demands more feedback and response from the barrel. The One.12 also incorporates the 4.One Composite on the handle, giving you a maximum performance. This is one of the first Half & Half designed with a one piece feel. This new DeMarini composite barrel offers the best technology possibly available on the market today; 4.ONE Composite. The positack grip gives you the most comfortable feel allowing you to have to most control possible over the bat. New this year is the Clutch end cap and Clutch knob which maximizes the energy transfer in barrel at the point of contact. This bat is approved for play in ASA, NSA, ISA, ISF, and USSSA. The One.12 slow pitch swings like a natural extension of the human body. This bat also offers a full twelve (12) month limited manufacturer warranty. DeMarini: Continuing the Onslaught! Pros: Great Bat. Much better than the original The One. More whip to it. Hitting bombs right out of the wrapper. Unwrapped the bat a half hour before the first game. Hit nothing but bombs.

Cons: None.

Pros: All I have to say is it is worth every penny. I'm not a 300' guy, more like hit for the gaps. This bat has amazing control and power, whatever you're looking for. I would buy it again. I would recommend it to everyone. Our team scored 25 runs the first game with this bat.... it helped the girls and guys. I would say it gives an extra 40 ft compared to the double walls.

Cons: None.

Pros: Used it for the first time out of the wrapper last night, truley amazing bat. Very comfortable to swing, smooth and controlled for a slight endload, but feels very balanced in the hands. I have to agree, the 27oz feels like a 26oz. With everyone on the team taking swings with it, the bat just gets hotter and hotter. By the end of our 2nd game, you could hardly feel the ball contacting the bat, and the ball was gone. Everyone on the team loves the bat, girls included. The girls were hitting doubles and triples. With a handful of name brand bats being swing due to "Hype" this one has felt the most comfortable right out of the wrapper. Easy to adjust to, and very impressive to swing.

Cons: Price of course!!

Pros: Broke the bat in using a tee for about 75 swings then used it in a game. Hit the fence on the line twice and then hit the hardest ball I hit since I stopped playing baseball. 90% hot almost immediately. Can't wait till it's fully broke in. Awesome bat

Cons: Not reall high on the end cap but its just for looks anyway.

Pros: Out of the wrapper, this is one of the hottest bats my team has ever hit with. The tone seems to change with every at bat and the ball travels further and further. With just about 60 swings the team is starting to hit bombs with this bat. If this thing is supposed to be broken in after 200 swings, I cannot wait to see the results. We bought the 34/27 model.

Cons: I don't have enough scratch to buy 3 of them in all 3 weights.

Pros: Great pop when hit. Line drives are smoking. Easy to place ball wherever you want. Have not tried to go yard with yet only been using it for place hitting. So far have only used in 4 games but is getting hotter each at bat.

Cons: Not as hot out of the rapper as I expected.

Pros: I normally do not contribute to any blogs, however I just purchased this bat and used it tonight for the first time. I batted 4 for 5 with a 2 singles, a double and homerun. The rest of the team used it and pretty much everyone hit it hard. This bat is amazing... literally right out of the wrapper. I highly recommend it.

Cons: The end cap is a little funky... not sure why they made it like that.

Pros: bat has amazing pop, not a very big guy but this bat gets me well over 300' with the sb12 ball. bat got me tons of homeruns this past season and i'm extremely happy i bought it.

Cons: sweet spot isn't the biggest, but when you hit it the ball never comes down.

Pros: So far so good. Great feel, Great look. I have about 100 swings on it and I can feel it getting better.

Cons: Kinda petty but the ball seem to leave a LOT of marks on the bat. Makes it look old and weathered.

Pros: Well balanced and allows for much improved bat control when trying to place the ball. The weighted end allows an easy swing for line drives.

Cons: Takes a little while to break in based on other DeMarinis I have purchased.

Pros: nice colors, Chris Larsen name on it. Endloaded to help push the ball out of park. Very stiff like the Freak bats.

Pros: once this bat is broken in theres nothing that you cant bomb. the sweet spot is almost the entire barrel of the bat and the bat has a great sound

Cons: painfully long time to break it in but is worth it once it there

Pros: I've used shaved bats from other makers and I would go as far to say that this bat out of the wrap can hold its own against those. The grip feels great and the 2 piece design is not as pronounced as in later models. Hit a bomb the 1st at bat, man couldn't wait to break it in. Even play a little bit of co-ed weak side for the 1st time and almost went yard!

Cons: Got about 300 hits on this bat and has not improved a whole lot more. Composite bats get better with use but this one is pretty much the same. Don't get me wrong its a good bat it just is what it is after its broken in.

Pros: Hot out of the wrapper. everything was to the fence or over. Then had it rolled. This bat is a monster, bombs all over the place. And the line drives come off so fast that there hard to handle love it.

Cons: nothing yet

I live in Colorado, and play in temperatures ranging from 85 degrees to 35 degrees. Will this composite hold up to that amount of temperature change or will it crack easier?

Manufacturers suggest avoiding use of their composites in temperatures under 60 degrees. The cooler the temperature the greater the risk it cracks.

5118

Is this bat single or double wall?

This is a double wall bat.

This is a composite bat comprised of multiple layers of carbon composite materials. Typically, single and double wall are terms reserved for alloy bats. That being said, this will be considered a single-wall composite bat because there are not two seperate layers.

What is the break in peiord for the one black and white?

The normal break in period is 100 to 200 swings off a tee or soft toss. All composite bats will continue to perform better the more you use them.

what is the diffence between the dxone and dxona ? and which one is better

Both these bats are very similar and share the same composite technology. The DXONE is going to be a newer model than the DXONA
