New for 2012! Introducing an all-new, all-alloy, high-performance bat from Easton! The Atmos draws its name from the word Atmosphere; as in creating a WINNING Atmosphere! This one-piece bat is built to help players increase their swing speed, and ultimately their power! This is accomplished through the lightweight length to weight ratio and the balanced swing weight of the Atmos. In addition, the Atmos features a bottle bat design capable of producing the momentum that is crucial to higher swing speeds. Constructed from Easton's reliable 7050 Aircraft Alloy, the Atmos features the top performance and durability in its class. The Atmos has a thin 29/32 inch handle that is wrapped with a cushioned grip to give players fantastic comfort and control when they step up to the plate. The Atmos also has barrel lengths that increase with the length of the bat. This allows for the longest possible sweet spot for each respective size! Easton: Know-Feel-Be The Difference! The Atmos is approved for play in ASA, USSSA, NSA, ISA, and ISF. It is backed by a Full Twelve (12) Month Manufacturer's Warranty. Free Shipping!

Pros: My 8 yr. old daughter was playing in a 9u softball this year (her first time playing). She showed a lot of promise and was consistantly hitting with a $35 bat but she was not getting near the distance that I felt was capable of. Being that she was new to the sport I was reluctant to spend $300 on a bat so I decided on this one since it had great revues. Her old bat was a 26' -10 16oz bat. I bought her an Atmos that was a 28" -12 16oz bat. The firs day practicing she was hitting harder and farther. Her first game with the bat resulted in a her first home run. I am sure there are probably better bats but I think for the money it is a great bat. Two Thumbs up.

Pros: Purchased for my 7yr old. Went from making contact,no distance, power/"pop" with a cheap bat to consistently putting line drives, fly balls to IF/OF grass. Very impressed with this bat. Looks great too.

Ask QuestionWould this bat work for a slow pitch game?
Asked by Bob Truman on May 03, 2012
The Easton Atmos can be used in a slow pitch game. However most softball players prefer a heavier bat.

I was told that this bat would be legal for Babe Ruth. Is that correct? And if not what do you suggest?
Asked by Rocky 34 on Apr 20, 2012
Yes. This bat is approved for Babe Ruth softball.

I'm in high school and I was using a friend's bat that was 33/20.5 and was the Easton Rival. I loved that bat and now that she's graduated, I need a good bat this season, but I'm on a budget. Would this be an okay substitute for the Rival at a 33/21?
Asked by Emily on Mar 29, 2012
The Atmos has the same design as the Rival, so they should perform pretty similarly. The main difference between these two bats is the Atmos has more of a balanced feel, while the Rival is a little more end loaded. The Atmos may not be as durable as the Rival, but it should perform about the same.

Looking at this for my 8.5 yr old. Had her swinging 30/20 over the winter to build up strength. Thought the 29/17 would be good for coach pitch this spring. My child is medium strength, line drive hitter- what would be your recommendation. Thanks
Asked by Michael on Feb 02, 2012
The 29" will be a good option. That size will allow her to swing the bat faster creating more pop and better results. Good idea on swinging a heavier bat.
