Pros: had our first team practice for the year last week. me and my teamates loved this bat. i had literally just taken it out of the wrapper and were hitting bombs. after a few strokes me and my team mate were hitting it out of the park. A++++
Cons: none
One of the hottest slow pitch bats of all-time is back and ready to unleash the power Miken's classic technology! The Miken MV-1 Supermax will undoubtedly propel your game to the next level. The MV-1 is made from Miken's R900 carbon fiber that provides a 38.8% higher tensile strength and 40% higher elongation than the industry standard composite! R900 has become a staple of Miken's composite bats because of its proven ability to endure grueling play. Miken's proprietary Durashell Technology acts as a composite shield around the barrel, maximizing performance out of the wrapper. Inside, the MPa7 Resin System is exclusively calibrated to optimize the performance and resilience of Miken's premium carbon fiber materials. Multi-Layer Biaxial Technology precisely aligns and bonds the composite filaments to produce unrivaled durability and performance. In addition, Inner Flex Technology is triggered on impact with the ball, optimizing energy transfer from handle to barrel for maximum distance and ball speed. With an X-Tack grip, players get extreme knob grip for unrivaled control. As with all Miken bats, the MV-1 Supermax is proudly made in the USA. Miken: Elite Equipment for the Elite Player! The MV-1 is approved for play in USSSA, NSA, ISA, and ISF. It is backed by a Full Twelve (12) Month Manufacturer's Warranty. Free Shipping!

Pros: Player Stat: 5'6" 150lbs. line drive hitter. Bat has amazing launch when you hit the sweet spot which is very large. The max load helps to get more torque on the swing to hit harder. I do think the bat is hot, I was hitting 260 on the fly at a temp of only 60 degrees. Solid construction and bat seems very durable for long term use. Grip is big and adds good hand control and feel. Paint looks nice and holds up to ball contact, very little or no chips yet after about 300 cuts or so. Overall with having the new USSSA stamp and good benefits for the player I would recommend this bat to friends to put in the bag.
Cons: You can feel the max load so if your not used to it you will have to get a fair amount of BP to feel it out.

Pros: Originally bought this bat for me, but... my wife picked it up at our team scrimmage and was hitting "Bomb's" She went 4 for 4 one down 3rd base line that was a missile! Every time I connected felt solid and the best sounding bat I have ever heard. I would reccomend this bat to any one trying to find a good all around bat that hit's hard and feels great!
Cons: Defiantly end loaded. If you like a light weight bat I would stay away from this bat. Go down a oz or two if you like a lighter bat!

Pros: This has to be my favorite bat i've owned to date!!! It does have a break in period, took me about 60-80 swings off a tee to really start to feel it opening up. Now this bat is scary hot and sounds amazing. Sweet spot is huge. Love the end loaded feel of it. Would definitely recommend

Pros: great bat!! right out of the wrapper i was hitting bombs and rockets, great sound, A++
Cons: replaced the white grip, not a big fan of it, but that is it

Pros: A teammate bought it 2 weeks ago, he took it out of the wrapper at the game, he hit a laser down the middle, 2 other players hit with the bat. I got my hands on it with 3 hits. And i blasted a HR down center filed over a 320 ft fence and in cleared it for another good 20-30 ft. This bat is sick! 100% recommended
Cons: its not in my bag yet

Cons: Going to miss my OG mv1

Pros: HOTTT out the wrapper..i took it out to BP to get it right and it only took about 25-50 cuts before i was one hoppin' hard line drives to a 300+ fence! at 50-75 cuts it was flying stupid...by far the best bat i have swung in my young softball life
Cons: I think its going to have durability issues...

Is this bat as hot as the MV-3 or the DC-41?

Yes, it is! Miken leads the market in slow pitch and they definitely don't disappoint with the MV-1!! Great pop!

does this compare to the miken superfreak maxload in performance?
Asked by jason on Nov 06, 2011
I would give the Super Freak a leg up in terms of performance. I've hit with both and the MV1 felt great to swing, but I felt I was getting about 10-15 additional feet using the Super Freak. That's my opinion at least.

what is the hottest miken bat thats out on the market now(new ones)
Asked by mdk61 on Nov 03, 2011
If you're judging by straight up performance, I would go with the new Ultra II (SPU2P). Out of all the new Miken's it is the hottest. After that, I would go with the Miken Freak SPFXBU.
