Pros: I bought the 28" model for my 8 year old. Compared to her old, entry-level bat, she definitely has better bat speed with this one. She really likes the padded handle tape; it's padded more than other bats we have and she says it reduces sting. As always, great service from JustBats.com. This is the 3rd bat I've bought from them and like the others, it arrived sooner than the date quoted.
Cons: None so far.

Pros: My 12 year old wanted this bat for a long time. Got it for her birthday-she's ripping the ball!! JustBats was sooo quick with delivery!!I will definitely order from this company again.

The Mizuno Avalanche will be a great bat for the price, but I would give a slight edge in performance to the Easton Rival. Both will display similar durability.

This one-piece aluminum bat from Mizuno will be pretty durable. If you limit the number of people who use the bat and refrain from overuse in the batting cage, then it's very likely that it will last at least a couple seasons. There's really no set lifespan for any bat and there are always exceptions on both ends of the spectrum.
