Pros: Great pop on this bat. In the first week of using this bat my 14U daughter hit two home runs in one game. Prior to using this bat she was more a base-hitter. Now she hits it long and her teammates call her "Angry Angie"!!!

The softball world is in a Frenzy over the new Frenzy 3.0 fastpitch softball bat from Mizuno. The bat used by the Champion Washington Huskies. The research and development department at Mizuno through out the book and designed an all new bat from the knob all the way to the end cap. They started with brand new Black Onyx carbon fiber which allows for more carbon and less resin to provide the ultimate in durability. From there they apply Mizuno's Techfire technology to the Black Onyx carbon fiber. Techfire technology is comprised of three different levels of materials bonded together that make up one single wall. This construction constitutes a single-wall bat that increases the sweet spot over 16%. Mizuno has also added a new Anti-Shock construction which reduces vibration by 38%. Reduction in bat vibration means that all the energy that was contributing to bat vibration is now available to be transferred to the ball. You also now have the option to customize your length to weight ratio with a -8 or -10 drop to increase bat speed and control. Pounding the ball to all fields has never been easier. Fielders don't stand a chance as you take the ball to all fields with power. Add Mizuno's cushioned grip and you have an all new bat for the serious softball player. Pros: Bat has some nice pop. My daughter loves it.

Cons: 2 out of the 3 players who bought this bat on my daughters 14U team, had the bat break in 2.

Pros: I bought the Mizuno Frenzy for my 11yr old daughter who loves it. It is 1" longer and 2oz heavier, but she says she can't tell a difference between the Frenzy and her old shorter, lighter bat. She is hitting the ball an average of 18' farther than she did with her old bat. With more practice with this bat that number will increase. She also loves the look and feel of the grip.

Pros: Totally awesome!I just turned 13 and have the 32 22 and am lovin' it!Great pop!Line dirves go significantly farther than most other bats i have seen i would definately recommend it!

Pros: My daughter just switched to the new frenzy 3.0 from a Mattingly V-grip. The aluminum bat was a -12.5 and I was concerned that when she wanted to choose another bat that the -10 would be too heavy. She is crushing the ball with serious pop on her travel team so far. She made an excellent choice and she absolutely loves the grip.

Is this a balanced bat similar to the CF5

This Mizuno Frenzy 3.0, similar to the CF5, will have a very balanced swing weight. The new way of constructing the Frenzy has only aided in the balance of the bat.
