The softball world is in a Frenzy over the new Frenzy Elite Xtreme slow pitch softball bat from Mizuno. The research and development department at Mizuno through out the book and designed an all new bat from the knob all the way to the end cap. They started with brand new 100% Black Array carbon fiber which allows for more carbon and less resin to provide the ultimate in durability. From there they apply Mizuno's Techfire technology to the Black Onyx carbon fiber. Techfire technology is comprised of three different levels of materials bonded together that make up one single wall. This construction constitutes a single-wall bat that increases the sweet spot over 16% and increased performance. Even the end cap is redesigned using a coiled design for a 30% lighter end cap for a lower swing weight and better control of the bat. The balanced version of the Frenzy Elite Xtreme helps with a more controlled swing for the precision line drive hitter. Pounding the ball to all fields has never been easier. Fielders don't stand a chance as you take the ball to all fields with power. A new redesigned smaller knob, for a better feel with the Digi-grip handle wrap round out an all new bat for the serious softball player. With a 2 ¼" diameter 12.5" barrel and an end load for power players, Mizuno demonstrates once again that "Your Passion is Our Obsession." The Frenzy Elite Xtreme is approved for play by: NSA, USSSA, and ISA. Free Shipping.

Pros: Just got the bat, paid full retail. Incredible pop and distance. I am only 5' 11" 250lbs and i can crush the ball farther than i did before right out of the wrapper. I normall swing a 28oz but with the 27oz it seems i get more lift trajectory off this bat.
Cons: had to pay full retail to see what was going on with this bat, but seems well worth it if you have that kind of money to spend go for it, you wont be disappointed
