Pros: This is by far one of the BEST affordable bat ever used BELIEVE ME! I seen everyone using expensive composite bats and everyone was trying to hit a home run but ended up being just another long out ... so I brought out my aluminum storm and was hitting gap doubles and singles all tournament long. So if you are a contact hitter that wants to put the ball in the gaps and not be a deep out try this bat
Cons: Other players won't take u serious with this bat and probably need to invest in a better grip if your picky. Great aluminum bat!

Pros: The price was right...
Cons: I'm 6 foot tall, 170 pounds. In about 10 pitches I had bent this bat. All contact was made with the barrel of the bat. I don't know what it's made out of but that seems like a good indicator that this bat is very weak.

Pros: Wanted a cheap 26oz bat for girls on our fall coed team. I took bp with it out of the box for kicks, and it really out performed my expectations. I hit hard line drives all over the field. Didn't carry any of them out, but it feels like if you put a good swing on the ball it'll go. It won't replace my salvo, but it's a good bat for $30.
Cons: Has a really thick handle, takes a little bit to get used to.

Pros: Wanted a good starter bat that didn't cost a ton. It performed well and the batting cages the first couple of times. But remember you get what you pay for.
Cons: The first practice I took it to...it just busted inside. On simple "slow" pitches from average joes, something came loose inside and was rattling inside the bat. I couldn't use it anymore because it felt like it lost its shock absorbtion. At least it was just $30, but I thought it would've last long then 4 uses.

Ask QuestionI've recently purchase an Easton Hammer SK4 and it hasn't broke in fast enough for me. I have also been looking at an AMP. I'm a power hitter and play for church league and need an inexpensive bat that i can break in really quick. Would this bat work for me?
Asked by Southern Slugger on May 02, 2011
Yes. This bat should work well for you. It is 100% alloy and does not require a break in period. It will be ready for game use straight out of the box.
