Pros: Nice glove! Large enough for a 12" ball, but not too big/heavy for my 11 year old (who's still using an 11" ball - but I wanted a little growth room). The extra padding for the index/middle fingers and the palm are great additions. Time will tell if they hold up - but even if they don't, there is enough native padding from the glove itself.

Cons: It will take a little while to break in - especially for the smaller hand. Glove oil and some coach usage will help it along.

Pros: got this mitt for a 10yr playing in 12u. It has a great pocket and locks the ball in well. this is a very well made mitt. got it, oiled it, handed it to the catcher, used it for an hour, her response was ITS AWSOME!!! I would buy this mitt again

Cons: A little stiff but still does not take much power to close on the ball

My 14 year old daughter is a fastpitch pitcher. The glove that I have been using to catch her for years is a Wilson Fastpitch catchers mitt. She is now throwing in the mid 50s and causing me much discomofort on my glove hand. I am looking for an affordable, well padded, catchers mitt to catch my daughter with her increasing pitch speed. Recommendations?

I suggest looking at some large 1st base mitts. Those gloves will be a better feel for you and will have a deeper pocket. A fastpitch catchers mitt will be tight on the hand and more designed for the female hand.

Do you thinks this will fit a 9 year old girl with a large hand?

Yes, it should. If not, we do offer a free return label to send it back to us. We have the 100 day guarantee.

Looking at this glove for my 11 year old daughter. She presently is using a Worth D1 Collegiate Series DCFPCM 35" which I think is too big but somehow she makes it work behind the plate.

If she is used to a 35" this might seem small to her, but don't forget about our 100 day guarantee.

Will This Glove Fit An Average Sized Mans Hand?

Most fastpitch gloves are going to be very small on a males hand. Fastpitch gloves are made for a females hand. They are going to have smaller hand and finger stalls. Most males will wear baseball catchers mitts.
