Pros: My daughter owned the 11" model of this glove as an average-sized 9 year old playing second base on a travel ball team (see my prior review for ne11fp) . A year later she needed a little larger glove ( I should have bought this one to begin with) and she insisted on the same one. In addition to my prior review, I would add that due to the web design, the stopping power of this glove is amazing on line drives and hard hit grounders.
Cons: The glove will be a little smaller than you expect. I would say the 11" model would be right for the average sized 7-8 year old and the 11.5" model for 9-12 (unless your child plays first). Just don't buy a glove that is too large like most do. It causes all kinds of bad habits.

Pros: Soft material gives the glove a great broken in feel. Big pocket with smaller finger grooves gives my 7 year-old daughter total control of the glove in the field. Great youth softball glove!
Cons: I can see durability being an issue over the long haul, but wouldn't deter me from purchasing this glove.

The Easton Natural Elite Fastpitch Youth Series: NE115FP is an 11.50" glove and would most likely be too small for your daughter. I would recommend looking at 12.00" gloves for a more comfortable feel.

The Natural Elite is a good one, easy to break in and has the VRS protective palm pad. There is also the Mizuno Prospect Fastpitch Series: GPP1154 Youth. Mizuno has a patented Power close design that makes it easy for small hands to squeeze around the ball. As well as a parashock palm pad, for extra padding.
