Is this a baseball or a softball glove?

The reason for this bat being a closeout is because they are no longer making the Easton Rival, it has been replaced by the Easton S3 or XL3. This particular bat is not BBCOR rated as well. It is BESR rated, that is why it is discounted.

The pocket is such that it requires no break in. It isn't what I would consider flimsy, just broken in feeling.

Yes, at 12 inches it is fine for infield play. The web design is all personal preference.

I would recommend this glove for someone playing in the outfield. Most outfielders use a 12.00-12.50 inch glove. Most infielders use a 11.00-11.50 inch glove.
