Glovesmith`s Elite Series gloves are the ultimate in fielding equipment. This signifies a new era in ball glove production. Glovesmith uses the very best materials from which the finest gloves are created. The production process starts with flawless steer hide that are cut and carefully stitched together. Next, the glove is stuffed with genuine needled wool, giving the glove more padding comfort. Each glove is pattern split and bend cut to enhance the durability. The welting is triple stitched before the final process of giving the glove the trademark metallic gold labels and choice rawhide laces. The process is not done here. Each glove is individually hand pounded to shape the glove. Free shipping is available on all Glovesmith gloves. Glovesmith, Ball Gloves for the Serious Player.

Pros: Very well made glove. large, deep pocket. Breaks in well.
Cons: A little large for baseball, making the transfer a little more difficult. Better for softball.

Ask QuestionMy son is a 5'11 150 14 year old with big strong hands. Is this glove too big ? Im frightened by the idea that one answer says " a little large for baseball"
Asked by Jol on Nov 23, 2011
It does have a deep pocket, but this will really come down to personal preference. We have a 100 day guarantee on our gloves. If for some reason it is too big you can return it for an exchange or full refund.

Is this a heavy (weight) first base glove?
Asked by Pat on Aug 18, 2011
This glove is going to be about the average weight for a 13.00 inch first base mitt. This is going to be a very durable glove that has very good padding.

I read the above review of your mitt, i like the fact that people think this is a large glove, i have been looking for a first base mitt larger than a 13" but can't find one anywhere. i have a very large hand and can't get into other size 13 mitts. they only cover 3/4 of my palm. if i purchase this mitt, what is the return policy if i can't get my hand in it?
Asked by RYNO on Aug 05, 2011
Yes, the largest 1st base mitts we carry are 13inch. We have 100 day return policy. Go ahead and play with it and see if it will work, if not just return it within the 100 days for a refund or exchange.

would this glove be ok for left hand adult male catcher in fast pitch softball. haveing trouble with akadema catchers mit in the fast. ball breaks back through it.
Asked by mdm on Jun 04, 2011
Yes. This is a durable glove that should work well for catching fastpitch softball. I don't think you'll have any issues with the lacing or depth of the pocket.
