Pros: Very nice leather. I got the glove at 4pm and had a game at 7 and it was easy to play with it right out of the box. I have since broken it in and am very happy.

Cons: It is a little wider from the pinky to the thumb than others that I have had but it is nothing that I will not get used to. Really good glove.

The Omaha Pro Series is back again this year, but with a new look and a few upgrades to their materials. The all new professional grade, oil-treated steer hide leather makes this line of gloves one of the most durable and comfortable on the market today. When choosing a glove, having one that is comfortable and will last are two of the most important things to consider. So when you're in the market for a new glove, there is only one real choice, and that is the Louisville Slugger Omaha Pro Series. To add to the comfort of the gloves, Louisville has added full leather finger linings along with bruise guard padding for additional protection. The already durable laces have been made thicker and are dyed all the way through for even more durability. With pro style patterns, these gloves are designed for youth players all the way up to the pros. The eye-catching new color scheme is sure to be one of the hottest designs available and will have everyone taking a second look. Design, durability and comfort all put into one product can only mean one thing: Louisville Slugger. If you want to take your game to the next level, there's only one glove line to choose, and that's the Louisville Slugger Omaha Pro Series. Free Shipping!

Pros: Great glove, broke in quickly and shipped very fast.

Cons: Only very small downer is that the wrist band is very tight and doesn't adjust because of factory tightening.

Pros: Being only my second glove (Louisville Slugger TPS1301H) I really like this one. Feels great from the beginning and only took one time conditioning and three times training to break it in nicely. Leather looks brown with a slight touch of red, just as if it was made to grab some dirt along with your ball to make it look vintage :-)

Cons: No real possibility to adjust to your hand, luckily fits great onto my hand (5 11, about 145lbs)

I am considering this glove as well as the Mizuno MVP Prime Series GMVP1277P. Do you recommend one over the other? It is mostly for recreational baseball use. Also, is one a better fit for larger hands?

The OPRO1300 and the GMVP1277P are both high quality gloves at a moderate price. Either would be a good choice for an outfielder.

Is this a baseball glove or a slow pitch softball glove?

It can be used for either. It does feature a deeper than average pocket which would make it a good option for slow pitch softball. It would also work for baseball as well.
