Pros: Got this glove for my daughter(10yrs old) She loves it! Broke in fairly quick, Great for 12" ball.. Velcro strap was a must since she is still young and still growing into it. I've used it myself and it has a great feel when recieving the ball!

Pros: Love the glove. First game was today snatched a hard line drive hit on the first base line. Still working it in. I think this glove will be a beast when completely broke in.
Cons: If you got XXL hands don't buy will be to tight. It's a little tight for my XL hands.

Need a first base mitt for a 6 4 big 16 year old with large hands. We purchased a Rawlings Renagade and it is way to small. He has a Rawlings 12.75 gold glove for 3rd base that works well. your suggestions for a Christmas gift.
Asked by Mel on Oct 30, 2011
Mizuno and Rawlings first base mitts typically fit larger hands more comfortably as they offer a bit more room compared to other brands. The Mizuno GXF22, Rawlings PRODCTDCC, Rawlings PROSDCTBR and Rawlings PROCMHCB2 would be 4 of the best options.

Could this be used in baseball even though it says 13.00 Inch Softball Sized Model and Softball Pattern???
Asked by Lesa on Jun 20, 2011
Sure. It is designed with a larger pocket to accomodate a softball, but it can be used in baseball especially if the player prefers a mitt with a larger pocket.

what is the difference between a fielders glove and a first base mitt?
Asked by kalani on May 11, 2011
A first baseman's glove is larger and it has more padding than a fielder's glove. And is also position specific and can't be used anywhere else in the field.
