Pros: Wow! what a glove. deep pocket, soft in the middle, reains some stiffness on the thumb and pinky. broke in easy.
Cons: just make sure you you know how to break in a glove correctly or you'll never know the differance between this and a $25 wal-mart special. if you've never broke in quality leather, watch the video on this site.
This glove is part of the Nokona Buckaroo Series. Nokona's Kangaroo leather is a love affair for players who desire a lightweight, highly supple leather that is strong for its weight. It is put in combination with cowhide. This combination has made this the premium choice of leathers that has caught on with both baseball and softball players alike. The lightweight feel is great for either the infielders or the outfielders. The finger and thumb loops inside provide full control for the fielder. This glove comes in a 13.00 inch model and features a closed back. A Velcro strap is included to easily secure the glove to your hand. It also has a deep, full, weave closed web. The AMG650K is a staple in the long line of quality products the good people of Nocona, Texas produce. This glove was hand made in the USA in Nocona, Texas. Nokona: American Made for American Played. Pros: This is the best softball glove I have used. The pocket is deep and swallows the 12" ball. I play the infield and it works quite well, all you need to do is get to the ball, the glove does the rest. Regardless of what others say this glove was easy to break in. It took me roughly 4 days and 2 catch sessions (to fully break in and form the glove, not just get it 80% game ready).
Cons: None. Best I have used, I have also played with a Wilson A1000 SB13 and Rawlings GG130FS.

Pros: Durable, light weight, and shows great craftsmanship. Very ideal for softball, and can be used for baseball as well. Great glove! Made in the USA!
Cons: none

Pros: I have had this glove for around three years and it is still in great condition. I would recommend this glove.
Cons:
by BigTimePlayer - Aug 23, 2007
Pros: Great glove with a huge pocket. The kangaroo leather is a bit thinner so I was skeptical at first, but it has proven to be a durable glove.
Cons: Slight kink in the web that's been hard to work-in.
by DrMac - Jul 12, 2008
Pros: I've had this glove for 4 years. Leather appears to be very sturdy. Nice pocket and fit. Extremely easy to break in without being too flimsy.
Cons: I like a glove with a little stiffer leather but that is a personal choice.

Pros: Great Glove! Durable but soft, and easy break in period right out of the wrapper. Will never buy another brand. Nokona!!
Cons: Can't think of any...it even smells good :)

Pros: So anyone that knows anything about Nokona knows how awesome they are. But not only is this glove awesome with a short break in period (like every Nokona I have ever owned), this company is awesome as well. Was going to pay to have it next day shipped when the Cust. Service Rep said that based on where I lived I would have it in 2 days so no reason to pay the extra. Rare to find a company that will go out of its way to save you money while they are selling you something. I used to buy from Softball Sales and now I only use Ball Glove Warehouse or Just BallGlovesfor my glove needs and I only by Nokona these gloves are the best hands down.
Cons: The only con is that these gloves are so well known and well liked that you have to keep an eye on your glove at all times. I have never had one wear out but I have had them taken. So keep an eye on them and its all good

Pros: Amazing feel. The material lasts and lasts!
Cons: I used the Nokona glove ointment and played 4 nights per week for going on 3 summers now and it is still not broke in!!!

Cons: Haven't had any yet

Pros: Excellent materials, workmanship and made in America. Really light weight and conforms to my hand really well.
Cons: none.

Pros: Still pretty new. Seems to be breaking in quickly. Cannot wait to use it in real game situation soon. I have always owned high end gloves and thus far this glove feels awesome. first Nokona for me, ther leather is definetely quality. I will be using this size for softball, mosstly infield and utility player. The back velcro strap is well constructed and you can fit this glove to your size hand easily. I have the strap extremely loose while breaking it in but is nice to know in the future i can make it more snug as the leather stretches a bit. The pocket appears to be perfect for mens softball.
Cons: None so far.
by Mac&cheese - Oct 18, 2011
Pros: Made in US. Nokona offers repairs from factory. Feels great once broke in. Real nice pocket for both large & small balls. Use the Nokona conditioner as they say and you will have one awesome glove. Forget those "quick fix" break-in methods, as this is really nice leather and it takes time.
Cons: A bit heavier than other gloves, NOT lightweight. I was set to return mine, even had it in the return box...gave it another chance and that did the trick. Glad I took the time, so don't think it's ready out of the box.

Pros: This glove is amazing, i am a softball pitcher and this glove is a key factor to my game. The light weight and durable leather is great. It broke in within a day or two.
Cons: None, buy the glove (:

Pros: Superb quality. Absolutely love the glove and can't wait to use it.
Cons: Taking a little longer than I thought to break in but it's getting there.

Ask QuestionI am looking for the left hand throw model for the BS1300C. I can't seem to find any in stock..suggestions? Thanks.

Unfortunately, we do not have any left hand throwers in stock. Nokona has a list of retailers that carry their gloves. Check out their website at http://www.nokona.com/locator/.

My daughter is 14 and plays 3rd base. We are looking for a glove that will carry her through high school. She prefers a bigger glove. Would this 13" glove work for her. She thinks the 12.5 would be too small.
Asked by rebel on Mar 08, 2012
The BS1300C is a baseball model. The Nokona Buckaroo Black Softball Series: BS1300CBLK has a softball pattern and would be better suited for fastpitch softball.

Is this a baseball or softball glove?
Asked by Kevin on Feb 18, 2012
This glove can be used for baseball, but it's large pocket definitely makes it a favorite of softball players as well.

Would this be a good glove for the outfield in womens fastpitch softball? Im looking for a high quality leather glove. Would this be the glove or would you recommend a different model?
Asked by jess on Dec 29, 2011
This glove would be perfect for outfield. This glove has a deep pocket and is made of a high quality leather.

My son 16 year old son is 6'3", about 210 lbs. and wears an XL to XXL batting glove so he has big hands. He is a pitcher and I was wondering if this 13 inch glove would be suitable as a pitcher/infield glove.
Asked by NatJoe on Dec 02, 2011
with him being so big, and Nokona tends to run just a little small, this glove might work for him. Keep in mind our 100 day guarantee if it doesn't suit his needs.

My mother has a couple of horses and so uses a lot of leather treatment products for her riding gear. Can i use the same products for this glove?
Asked by Rig on Oct 28, 2011
The treatment products for riding gear should not be used on Nokona gloves, it can dry out the glove.

I play softball and I'm a infielder in a adult league. What size glove do you recommend.
Asked by Red on Jul 18, 2011
I play all over the field in softball (mostly outfield) and I use a 13 inch glove. Two of my teammates play strictly infield, one uses a 13 inch glove, the other a 12.5 inch model. If I were playing infield only, I would go with a 12.75 or 13 inch model (in my opinion I think a 12.5 inch glove is a bit too small).
· Jul 19, 2011
my son is 13 he has an 11.5 Rawlings. However this glove is too small to play the outfield. I'm thinking about a Nokona Buckeroo 13". Do you think this is to much glove for him?
Asked by phil on Jun 28, 2011
I would recommend a smaller glove for an outfielder. Most infielders use 11.00-11.50 inch gloves. Most outfielders use 12.00-12.50 inch gloves.
· Jun 28, 2011
i looking for a 14 inch in a glove do you have any thing
Asked by randy on Feb 03, 2011
This series is actually not made in a 14 inch model. The AMG700KCW (which is currently out of stock) would be your closest option at 13.5 inches.
