Pros: Really nice, soft leather. Breaks in quick and is game-ready with just two sessions of catch and one treatment of Nokona glove conditioner.
Cons: Price and size. It's slightly smaller than other 12" gloves. It's about the same size as my Rawlings 11.5". So if you want something to use in the outfield, keep that in mind. It's a really nice glove, but not significantly better than my Rawlings Gold Glove series. If you have money to spend, spring for the Nokona. If you're playing on a budget, the Rawlings Gold Glove is the better value.
The classic Nokona Buffalo Combo Series is back with a new look and same unbeatable quality. Nokona uses premium quality, select American Range Bison from ranches in South Dakota. Buffalo leather produces the best of both worlds, soft and sturdy. For players looking for fast break-in, Nokona has combined Buffalo with Nokona's Walnut leather. This combination produces a robust yet supple glove. The Buffalo Combo Series gloves are made from Buffalo leather and Oil-Tanned Cowhide for that added protection and comfort that creates a truly premium glove. When looking for a top-of-the-line glove, the Nokona Buffalo Combo Series should be on the top of the list. This versatile glove is handmade in the USA in Nocona, Texas for the elite player. Don't buy a new glove every year, get a Nokona and get a glove that will last far beyond your expectations. Nokona: American Made for American Played! Free Shipping!

Ask QuestionWhat size for a 16 year old girl who plays 2nd base & pitcher?
Asked by Gr on May 22, 2012
The Nokona Buffalo Combo Series: BC1200C would be a perfect size for a sixteen year old infielder.

Looking for a Nokona glove for my 12yr old son who pitches and plays outfield. Looking at this one and WB1200C. Any thoughts?
Asked by Ryan on Apr 11, 2012
Both the Nokona Buffalo Combo Series and the Nokona Classic Walnut Series are excellent gloves. The Nokona Classic Walnut Series is a utility model and would be great for an infield and outfield player.

Need perfect glove for infield and outfield. What do u suggest for 10u?
Asked by IC47 on Jan 12, 2012
The Nokona glove is actually an adult model and will probably be too big for a 10 year old. I would suggest a youth model glove in a 11.50. Try the Wilson A2000 Showcase Series: SC1787SS Youth.

do you recommend this glove for third base
Asked by thrid basemen on Aug 08, 2011
This glove might be a little big for someone that is playing 3rd base. Most infielders use a 11.00-11.50. Most outfielders use 12.00-12.50. Most of the time I would not recommend this glove for 3rd base, but for a select few this glove would work.

How long should this glove last with use almost everyday
Asked by Mr K on Jul 08, 2011
This glove should last a few years. Depends on the up keep up the glove. This is a very durable glove. The combination of buffalo and walnut leather is a very good combination for a durable glove.

In your opinion which is a better glove...the nokona buffalo combo or the pro line?
Asked by Dave on May 20, 2011
It depends on what you are looking for. They are both great gloves. The Pro line uses buckskin leather which is softer and lighter and will break in quicker. The Buffolo combo uses buffalo and walnut leather and will be more durable over many, many years of use.

will you guys adjust the hand opening down a size before shipping for a small handed person?
Asked by buck2676 on Apr 21, 2011
Unfortunately we don't have the capabilities of adjusting the hand size on gloves before they are shipped, however this model does run a bit smaller compared to other gloves.

Is there any chance this glove will ever go on sale? $150 is the most my wife will let me spend
Asked by josh on Apr 18, 2011
There's always a chance it will go on sale, but because this particular glove is new for 2011, it probably won't for several more months. Feel free to check back with us later this summer.

What if upon receipt my son doesn't like the glove because of weight, feel etc.? Can it be returned provided it has not been used extensively?
Asked by Riverside on Jan 28, 2011
We have a 100 day, no questions asked return policy on all our gloves. You'll have 100 days to try the glove out and if you aren't satisfied for whatever reason, you can return it to us for a full refund. A free return label will also be included with the glove.
