This Nokona Pro Line Series is made from Premium Buckskin Leather and Sandstone Leather. Buckskin is a pre-oiled cowhide leather featuring a smooth dark brown finish. It is a staple in a long line of soft, yet durable premium top grain leathers, which provides that supple, broken-in feel that is enjoyed by today's players. The Buckskin is oil injected during the tanning process, which in turn produces a more flexible glove but a heavier weight. The Sandstone Leather is on the back of the glove. This leather is much stronger than most steer hides and therefore provides stability in the gloves. The Pro Line Series gloves offer an open back with shearling for a great look and an excellent feel. Nokona offers radius welting for unmatched durability on their Pro Line Series gloves. Nokona gives this glove a contemporary styling to give it the best look. This glove is perfect for players looking for a sturdy glove that is form-fitting and moldable. Nokona has always had the reputation of producing top of the line, durable and dependable gloves and the Pro Line Series is no different. This glove was hand made in the U.S.A. in Nocona, Texas. Ask QuestionI have an 11.75 A2K that is a little to small for outfield. Is this glove as big as a 12.75 A200? Or a little smaller?
Asked by John on May 22, 2012
Nokona gloves are unique due to the fact that each one is hand crafted in the United States. Because they are hand crafted, they sometimes fit just a little smaller than average. The PL1275M is a great outfielder's glove and won't run too much smaller.

I'm 15, can you use the glove for outfield?
Asked by Nick on May 22, 2012
The Nokona Pro Line Series: PL1275M would be a great outfield glove. This glove is actually an outfield model, so it should be a great choice for you.

I'm stuck between this glove and the Wilson A2000 KP92BL. Do you have any suggestions? How do they compare? THX
Asked by CA BaseBaller on May 13, 2012
Both are definitely high quality gloves. The PL1275M may be a little stiffer out of the box and will require a slightly longer break in period. I really like both gloves, but personally, I would give the Wilson an advantage in terms of comfort. It really comes down to your personal preference, but both will be long lasting, great performing gloves.

Would this be a good glove for an 3rd baseman who occasionally plays outfield?
Asked by Austin M. on Apr 19, 2012
Yes. I think so. The PL1275M runs just a little smaller than it's advertised size of 12.75 inches. It may still be a little big for third base in my opinion, but would still work very well.

Is this glove for softball or baseball?
Asked by John on Feb 28, 2012
This is designed as a baseball glove. There is nothing that says it can't be used in softball though.

Could an outfielder use this glove playing softball?
Asked by mike1020 on Feb 06, 2012
This glove is great for outfielders.

I play both infield and outfield, if i got this glove would I be able to use it for infield in High school baseball?
Asked by Maldonado on Nov 25, 2011
I don't believe it would work well for infield. Generally speaking infielders use between a 11-12 inch glove, outfielders 12.25 and bigger.

I am a pitcher and right fielder and am looking for a good back- up for the Nokona AMG300-CW. I just ordered the 12" TRIBAL with the modified web. Would the proline series been a better choice. What are the differences between the Tribal series and the Proline Series?
Asked by Talisman on Nov 19, 2011
Both gloves would be a great option, the main difference is just leather quality of the gloves

can you use this glove for infield positions?
Asked by jman on Aug 01, 2011
Are you playing baseball or softball? In my opinion, it would be too big for infield in baseball. The average size glove High School, Collegiate and Major League ball players use in the infield will be around 11.5 inches. This size glove is most commonly used in the outfield in baseball. For softball, this would be an excellent size to use in the infield.
