The hand strap on the 33" glove doesn't look like it has a velcro strap as described in the writeup. The picture is different. Can you tell me which is correct?
Asked by sailrat on Sep 09, 2011
This glove comes with the adjustable wrist straps. This glove will not come with the velcro straps. The picture that is shown is the correct picture for the glove.

My daughter is ten, i've been told to start her with a first basemans mitt as they are "eaisier to handle for young girls" what is your opinion on which type of mitt and what size of mitt would you recomend for a cataher? She is 5 ft. 100 pounds
Asked by big Joe on Aug 14, 2011
Around the age of 10 is typically when girls start using a real catchers mitt for fastpitch softball. A mitt between 31 and 32 inches is recommended for her age. The Rawlings CCMFPY is similar to this mitt and will have softer leather making it easier for a younger player to handle.

I would go with a 33inch. It is the average size, but you could easily go to a 33.5 as well.

Will This Glove Fit An Average Sized Hand Of A Male?
Asked by Joe on Jul 26, 2011
Most fastpitch gloves are going to be very small on a males hand. Fastpitch gloves are made for a females hand. They are going to have smaller hand and finger stalls. Most males will wear baseball catchers mitts.
