This glove may be a little small for softball. Most outfield players in softball like a 13.00" glove or bigger.

What is the difference between this glove and the TH48 besides price.

The biggest difference is that the GG1225G is going to use better leather and that is going to make the glove last longer. The TH48 is more for a youth and the GG1225G is more for an adult.

Can an adult use this glove or is it for youth? I am 6'2" and don't have huge hands, but they are not small either. Do you think this will work? I would like to break it in and use it to play catch with my son who is eight, and then give it to him to use when he is 10 or so and can handle it. Thanks!

This should work for you. It is not manufacturered as a youth glove and I have average size hands for an adult male and the glove fits pretty comfortably.
