This is fastpitch glove designed for women's softball.

My son will be turning 12 and he is big for his age. Would this be a good glove for baseball? He plays leftfield.

If he's bigger for his age and primarily plays the outfield a 12 inch glove should be a good choice. For most 12 year old outfielders an 11.5 or 11.75 inch glove is average, but it sounds like he can get by with something a bit bigger.
