Pros: For any that have owned a Rawlings HOH before, these new pre-oiled gloves are a dream to break in. I haven't had to use any product on it so far - simply playing catch and throwing a ball into it while watching TV has developed a nice, deep pocket and helped the glove form to my hand. The web is comprised of top grade lace, the palm provides complete coverage. The fastback, while not as cooling as an open back, makes for a really secure fit. After wearing it for a few weeks, it feels like it was made for my hand. Simple, but beautiful look - I've gotten several compliments on it. Overall, very happy with the purchase.
Cons: Ironically, the only reason I didn't give the full 5 stars is because of the pre-oil treatment. I've owned enough gloves to know if you want a glove to last forever it takes work (oiling, breaking it in). I have a feeling this will last me a good number of seasons, but not as many as the old dry HOHs used to. Time will tell. However, for someone who plays casually, or simply wants a top-quality glove for catch, this is an ideal fit.

Pros: Compared to prior gloves this is a very nice glove. Quality feel and performance! Purchased for my 13 yr old the only gripe if any is the finger stalls are abit larger than expected even for me. Finger stalls are similar to the Pro Prefered. Bfore you say well it is a 12 3/4 i've tried and purchased other 12 3/4 within the same brand and the gloves fit more snug. With that said a very nice glove he can grow with.

Ask Questionmost of the HOH are made for hardball can this be used for grisl/womens fastpitch especially OF
Asked by top recruit on Jan 09, 2012
The biggest difference with fastpitch gloves is the finger slots are smaller for female hands. This is a baseball glove, but the pocket would easily be broken in to a softball. If you don't mind the bigger finger slots, it could work well.
