Pros: Very nice glove out of the box. Son was able to play with after one practice with his team. Nice pocket for outfielders, maybe too big to play in the infield. He's enjoying it.
Cons: The leather is very thin on these gloves, it may not hold over time. Very good for the price though.
The all-new Rawlings Mark of a Pro Series was created to give young players a pro style glove with a better fit. Pros: great out-fielding mitt and in-fielding mitt, very versatile, durable, deep pocket, comfortable, GREAT PRICE! I'm an experienced baseball player and I'm serious about my equipment, I don't have $150 to spend every season. I bought this glove the day before my first practice. The glove was practically broken in and had the durability of a real leather glove. Best glove I bought so far! Overall, the glove has a great price and is very suitable for the serious baseball player. This glove is the **best** for the money!
Cons: *none!*

Ask QuestionI'm looking for a new glove for my 9 year old who pitches and plays centerfield. He's currently using a Rawlings 11.5 but he complains the pocket is not deep enough. Is this a good size??
Asked by Danny on Dec 12, 2011
The 12.25 inch glove might be a little too big for pitcher. Generally, infielders and pitchers use up to a 12 inch glove. Outfielders 12-12.75" Take a peek at these on our site. GG12XTCG, GPM1201

would this be the right size for my son who is 12 years old ?
Asked by chico on Nov 30, 2011
This will all depend on the player. Since this is a youth glove this will have small finger stalls and may be too tight for a 12 year old. Again, this all depends on the player.

Hi, I would like to know if the Rawlings Mark of a Pro Series TP1225T Youth glove is very easy to break in. I'm not those people who spend a long time breaking in my glove by catching. All I do is use the Rawlings Gloveolium oil and put a softball in my pocket, leave it overnight and maybe play 10 minutes of catch with my friend. The last glove I bought which was a derek jeter type of glove took so long to break in. So I would like to know if this glove is very easy to break in. Thanks :)
Asked by Derrick Luo on Oct 30, 2011
The TP1225T is a youth glove that will be very close to game ready. It shouldn't take more than one application of oil and one session of catch before it's ready.
