I am in the market for a top line 1B glove. My daughter will play the position in college. I want her to have the best tools possible. Does this product have the deep pocket she needs? Thanks.

Asked by Roy on Dec 12, 2011
A 12.00-13.00 would be the suggested size for that age.

How does this glove compare to the Mizuno Pro Series: GMP30 First Base Mitt? Which one would you recommend?
Asked by JJ on Oct 07, 2011
I would give the edge to the Pro Preferred Series because of the leather that is used. It will be a slightly better quality and will be more durable.

Are the gloves that the professionals use sold to the public, or is it really a gimmick. Best first baseman glove?
Asked by Rolando on Sep 03, 2011
It's not a gimmick. The only difference is MLB players usually get their gloves directly from the manufacturer and will often have them customized (name, number, etc.). The Rawling Pro Preferred, Wilson A2Ks, and Mizuno Pro Series offer some of the best first base mitts on the market.

Would this glove be suitable for men's slowpitch softball?
Asked by Ned on Jun 27, 2011
At 13 inches it has a deep enough pocket and it would work for you. For slow pitch softball I wouldn't go any smaller than a 13 inch mitt.

are first base mitts hard to break in ?
Asked by dylbill on Jun 02, 2011
It depends on the quality of the leather. This is a very high quality first base mitt that will take about 2 weeks or so to break in. Repetition is key and the more you work with it the quicker it will break in.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE PROSDT2T AND THE PROSDCTBR
Asked by granny on May 10, 2011
The PROSDCTBR is a slightly newer model than the PROSDCT2T. Honestly, there's not much a difference besides the color pattern. Another difference is that the PROSDCTBR features an index finger gel pad for a little extra padding.
