Pros: perfect glove, easy to break in, has shown no signs of wear after 3 years. without a doubt best glove i've owned in 40 years
Cons: not for younger players. while i have a small hand the "span" of the glove is much too large for my 10 y.o. stepson.
Shoeless Joe Gloves - "when it was just a game". Shoeless Joe Gloves give a player the quality, feel and style of the gloves used by professional ball players over the last 100 years. You can choose glove models used in the first half of century in the Golden Age Series or today`s models in the Professional Model Series. The Shoeless Joe gloves are individually hand-cut and sewn from Special Aged Antique Tobacco Leather Hides. Shoeless Joe gloves are then hand-rubbed with old time ingredients to soften the leather before they go through their breaking in process that leaves the Glove with a beaten up and `Game Worn` look and feel, of a broken in glove. Thus each glove is unstructured giving it it`s own unique feature. Players can choose to play with an old time or modern day web without having to change to another model. A great play is lived only once, but, Your Glove, you`ll keep it forever. If you end a game with a clean uniform our gloves are not for you. Shoeless Joe Gloves - "when it was just a game". Pros: I love this glove! It breaks in within hours and feels like you've had it for years.
Cons: It seems to be just a hair small for a 12.5''. Should have got one for my son at the same time.

Pros: game-ready softness, have owned four of their gloves and love the leather
Cons: soft leather wears out sooner, especially with their catchers mitts, this one not so bad

Ask QuestionI am going to be a freshman in high school and I am thinking of getting this glove for center field would this be a good glove for me
Asked by Dhouse on Aug 25, 2011
This glove would be perfect for the outfield. A typical outfielders mitt is 12.00-12.75

im a 12 (almost 13) year old center fielder who plays in a devlopmental travel ball team called the junior mavs. Im around 5'1". Would this be a good glove for me
Asked by gavasinto on Jul 06, 2011
I would recommend if you are an infielder to use an 11.00-11.50 inch glove. If you play the outfield I would go with a glove that is 12.00-12.25. I think that this glove would be to big for you.
