since the LA125bb-org is not available in a right hand thrower would this glove be ok for my 16 year old niece who plays mostly 1st base? she uses a 12 inch glove now.

If she plays mostly first base, I would suggest that she use a first base glove. This is a glove that is meant to only be played with at first base.

For a 13 year old playing thirdbase and shortstop, a glove around 11.5 inches would be recommended. This is a great glove that would be an option for your 13 year old, and at 12 inches, it would provide him some room to grow in to.
