This is a youth glove that will fit fairly small. However, if he has below average size hands, it should be a good choice for him in terms of fit and glove size.

The GCP70F youth, is designed for a youth ball player in mind and has a smaller hand and finger stalls. I would recommend an adult glove for anyone in High School.

My nearly 11 year old plays outfield, pitcher, and is a developing corner infielder, mostly 3B. He's 5.2, 108. Your site says 12.25 is the right size. Is this a versatile glove for him, and is the size right?

Yes, if he is playing multiple positions then you are going to want to get a 12" or 12.25" glove.

At 12.25 inch, deep pocket and trapeze web, would you consider this a good outfielders glove for average sized 12 year old. I see it advertised elsewhere as an infielders glove. His infielders glove is 11.25 Rawlings Gold Glove. Would this Mizuno 12.25 be a better fit for outfield play? Thanks.

Since this is a youth model, it should fit him pretty well. Generally, a 12.25 inch glove is just a little big for a 12 year old, but this model should work well for him in the outfield.

This glove would work for him, I would just worry about the finger and hand stalls would be to small. This would work for a smaller 15 year old. This will be a great glove for him to use and is easy to break in.

The hand opening and finger stalls will be cut a little smaller to better fit a youth players hand or an older player with smaller hands. This will be higher quality compared to your typical youth glove and will offer excellent durability and performance.

This glove may be just a little big on a 12 year old. The average size outfielders glove for a 12 year old is 11.5 or 11.75 inches.
